Thanks, nice feedback! This build really started out with a design intent of just building a pool. One thing led to another, and the building took shape. I have started to change my build progressions to envision a roofline and build that part of the building first with the support structures , even before I build out the floors. As far as a video, I have been tossing that idea around, so stay tuned!
is that clay brick roof? how did you get clay in Styx? Mods? also awesome build! I am afraid of using mods cause you never know if a new update will corrupt your files or save game.. or at least i dont know, never made a mod before so im clueless :D
Yes, I have made a mod that allows crafting for free on all benches. You shouldn't be afraid of mods for Icarus, just make sure you backup your vanilla prospects before going in with mods. I have been messing with mods since day 1 and only had one time where it screwed up a prospect, and that was because it was an experimental building mod by another player.
How do you make the curving staircase and things such as that? It looks like you have some pieces built into other pieces, is there a mod that allows you to do this?
@@LexiRose2303 this particular build, I did without mods, but once I saw how nice they turned out, I actually built a mod called “Pete’s Curved Stairs” and created curved railings as well. @@tanelviil9149 you can turn off building damage from storms. Also there are cool ways to use overhangs to protect parts of the base from storm damage. But there are many ways to circumvent your concern of storm damage.🤙
@@kyleg474 well turning it off makes it no real survival any more.. iinstead the game should have end game building pieces that don't take storm damage..right now they only have concrete... the reinforced glass still takes damage .....so if you want to have glass you have to go around and repair all the time..annoying

I think the chairs at the Pool are not Safe maybe
pointless , most of the stuff you used in that build you have to constantly repair .... the game really has issues.
