Hey skincare nerds! Have you ever used a facial oil before? 👍 or 👎?

The quality of that just isn't it - try sukin or face theory and see the difference in colour and texture

Thanks for the vid! I used to have constantly dry eczema patches and breakouts at the same time, but rosehip oil (over the cerave moisturizer) really balanced my skin in like 2 weeks... it's smooth and glowy most of the time now, and i took a lot of advice from you while building my skincare routine. I'll try almond oil for my dry patches since it has your approval ❤️

I use the rose hip oil by TO. I use small amounts as a moisturizer during the day and night but I add cetaphil lotion just for an extra layer of moisture at night. I also mix it in with my fenty matte foundation because I have combination skin and omg it works wonders. My face stays hydrated all day and has a dewy fresh makeup look for hours. I wouldn't recommend mixing it with foundation if you have oily skin. I have combination skin and it works perfectly. Also dont add too much oil on your forehead bc I got small bumps from overly moisturizing.

I personally love argan oil, it is also high in linoleic acid, and it absorbs so quickly and makes skin so smooth snd hydrated, no shine or greasiness at all, i have combo skin and works well. Argan oil is highly recommended for acne as well. I also love grapessed, but argan oil is even lighter it seems. Coconut oil was always super heavy for me, even on body, and it doesnt moisturize my skin, rather stays on top with the layer of grease and skin still feels very dry underneath, awful feeling. I use these two oils argan and grapeseed on my kids skin also. Avocado is a good oil as well btw.

Could you please make a video about moisturizers and sunscreen without glycerin? My skin is really sensitive with glycerin and most sunscreen and moisturizers have glycerin. Also I love you soooo much. Been your fan since day one! ❤❤

🤔... I've personally tried so many different types of oils but I always go back to rosehip oil......in between sometimes squalene( like the way the skin shines)....and lastly jojoba oil( started using on my hair)....I mainly use oils right after taking a shower...I find it absorbs faster 😅

I'm muddling my way through my skincare journey and am wondering what your recommendations are for acne spot treatments. Sometimes patch tests go really wrong, or I'll have a stressful week that results in breakouts on my chin, or my face just decides it hates me a particular day. :(

what are your thoughts on Biom8? It's Vitamin E Oil and a few other ingredients to keep your skin from drying out and turning red, flaking.

Hi Cathy! Love your videos but I’m confused about one thing you mentioned. You said there’s studies showing that acne prone skin tends to lack linoleic acid, but you also say linoleic acid is not naturally produced in the body, so how can non acne prone skin have more linoleic acid if the body doesn’t produce it?

Facial oils aren’t recommended by dermatologists for skin on their own, they just give the impression of hydration by sitting in the top of the skin. They clog pores aswell
