I'm really amazed by listening to this history. I don't know how I can get in contact with this older historian man to inform him about some historical facts I have, including the meaning of Guan or Guang in my yes Akan and Guan share the same roots. I'm a Sudanese from the Nawueri ethnic group. I believe our people departed away from each others long time ago.

This historian must be given the opportunity to teach at the schools, a lot he's saying that I knew through the teaching of the Holy spirit. Let's learn more from him while he's still alive.

And whoever wants to understand and to confirm what Osomafo is saying should go watch the Eternals from a marvel comics. And if you are really learning and trying ti understand why and what happened you will decode the movie and what the messages is really about.

Even in the history of the Jamaican people, the slaves use to sing a song that states, "guinea land is where i'm from, i want to go back to guinea land!"
Also in our dialect, we say "guan" which means to go away.. identifying markers of who we are as a people. In Jamaica we say, "out of many, one people!"

Meaning of the cunning dog, according to my Ewe friend told me his people told him they used it to represent the whiteman that came to trade with them and also to learn from the Ewes. That’s how the whiteman came to know how to break the backbone of our continent and was able to enslave us. And Stonebowy has a song praising an Ewe that killed lots of white people that was coming to their village simply by acting to on their behalf and offering them a boat to cross them over the river to their village and in the middle of it he capsize the boat and killed them in that river.

Simply to say cowards! They were the first to run down here from battles back in the days. It’s the same as saying Asantefoc meaning because of war. They gathered to fight for their freedom.

Your fact about Gonja is wrong. Gonja was formed right here in Ghana. The name is from a corrupted Hausa word.
