The Champagne 38mm is a beautiful piece. I recall playing Jr hockey being sponsored by Longines and receiving a two tone Conquest at the end of the season. My first Swiss watch and I wish I stlll had it but I lost it in a fight yrs later . Longines builds some nice looking entry level models. Appreciate the video RR
Another knockout release by Longines. Agreed on the clasp style used, but it does compare well to the Omega Aqua Terra shades models at a fraction of the price. Obviously I am not saying it is equivalent, but it is not a settling for a cheap or low quality watch. The 41 is quite nice.
I have purchased 2 watches from Exquisite timepiece. A Seiko SPB383 and a Omega seamaster professional Diver 300. Both lurches saved me money and was a great experience. I plan to purchase more.
Exquisite Timepieces sold me my first "expensive" watch, a Seiko SPB411 Navigator. It is such a rad watch, the experience was super seamless, and Graham was awesome. I'm a lifelong customer.
3:55 I don't think they use screw-in links. Seeing the arrow to guide the push direction on the back of the bracelet 3:59. Just the push-pin but the pin of Longines is really big so we must think it's a screwhead
Beautiful pieces. For someone with a wrist of my size(18cm on the nose) so essentially average...one of these could get 75-80% of my wrist time. Thanks for the showing.
It would be worthwhile to go try them on in person. I went to a local Ben Bridge for fun the other day and tried on a Longines Hydroconquest GMT in blue, a 39mm Longines Spirit Zulu Time in brown and gold, the 42mm variant of the same in green and black. I saw the gold Conquest in 38mm, but I’m regretting not trying it out on my wrist. Oh well, maybe another time. I will say the brown and gold 39mm Longines Spirit Zulu Time blew my mind! Perfect fit on my 6.5” wrist and looked absolute class, but still subtle enough for daily wear. Edit: Accidentally typed 38mm where it should have read 39mm
@ the battle in my brain is, conquest has a slight generic aesthetic (still a beauty) and no frame for date window but the pro is screw link bracelet and crown. The FC has pins for bracelet (lacks that feel of refinement) and push crown, but a very aesthetically pleasing case shape, dial, and framed date window
About as well balanced watch layout as possible. Thats the catch for me. Im forever in love with this one at 38mm. I have a TUDOR 41MM, Damn nice blue as unburst dial but no lume.😢
greetings..nicely you do it.i have a question: i bought a longines movement l 704.2, a matching base for showing time and hands for gmt-4 pieces (bought from china).i thought everything will go without problems.when i put the base on the movement , I took it to set the hands. the first hand is for gmt and I can't set it at all.. where is the problem?
I don’t think I’ve seen this guy really impressed with any watch, especially anything under 40mm. Everything is “meh.” If that’s the case, only review watches you love and leave the mediocre watches to other channels.
I have the Champagne dial. Thank you Longines for actually having listened and launched the 38!! What a great watch!
How does the champagne dial look in person?
Very bubbly

A red dial and I'm sold!
Same!
@@kevinjeung4685Agree as well.

Longines is on fire these days. Elegant watch.
I think Longines should offer that beautiful watch in a Salmon dial.

Need to see these in person. I’m in the minority in liking the Tudor Royal but looking at those two.
Won’t be disappointed with the Royal, loved both of mine

I have one pink and I love it so much ❤ hugs from France
❤😊
Just beautiful ...
I like this model but wonder why, if there must be a date, the window isn't framed at this price point?
It looks a little bit like an afterthought
I always like a date that’s framed
a NO Date version would be some watch 😯
My AD has these and they are fantastic. The Chrono is really nice. Daytona feel for 10% of the price.
I like the green dial 😍

wish there was a gmt version for this dressier version of conquest
Trying to decide between one of these or a spirit for an everyday piece!

These are awesome but the butterfly clasp is 😢 Also, at this price I'm looking at an Oris big crown pointer on bracelet!
needs a framed date window
Would you class this as a dressy watch? It seems more of a special occaions or suit watch
Actually has push pins for bracelet.
All that money and still can't color match the date wheel
Nice watch wish I didn’t have butterfly clasp though
Nice watches !!!
I would put a leather strap on it but 19m lugs!
If Tissot released a 38mm PRX, I'd take it over one of these..
This is far better quality
@@daveLin104, a little better, yes. Far better, no. I've held the 41mm Conquest and a quartz PRX together..
@@1984sebb unfortunately it is diminishing returns is a Rolex explorer worth x10+ a khaki field auto absolutely not.
@@1984sebbmf delusional i have the prx powermatic after one year it wouldnt tell time they replaced the shity movement 😂😅
The shopping channel of watch channels!
I’m so torn between 38 Conquest and 39 FC Highlife
If only getting one, go Longines

I'm going smaller ( 6.75 inch wrist/17/28cm) without bezels, so need to see the 34 silver & green on the flesh.
Красивые повседневные часы

Handsome watch
Looks like a Seiko SARB cocktail time.
Rob, how would you compare this to the Monta Noble?
Monta will have better finishing and lume.
Longines should have done the date matching the dial, looks like an afterthought in white with these dials
The blue and black are matched. It's a conscious decision, some are matched, some are not. Just look at the new Aqua Terra Shades/Lacquer line.
@@squalematicI realize it's a conscious decision, it just looks bad. Imo at least
Accuracy?
19 mm lug with and claps a let down. Other wise solid watch if not a bit generic.
41 will be better for you, Rob. Thanks for the video.⌚👍
19mm 😢
ETA 2892 movement
Great watches but the side profile looks just a bit too subby-like. Somehow makes it more vanilla as a sports/GADA watch
Still no 36mm
38 looks way too dainty on your wrist, get the 41

Wish the bracelet was fully brushed
the watch doesn't speak. put your microphone near your mouth
Why is the side of the new Conquest so similar to the Rolex case? Isn't this plagiarism?
Good quality but super generic design IMO
Exactly what I think.
Generic design ,why ?

I can't get of the fact that the Longines is a Swatch 😂
And Omega
