I usually like JRPGs with lots of bosses, but Phantasy Star 4 often held back, especially for the stretch after Igglanova, but the bosses all have so much weight to them even if I've mastered the game so many times over that they're not all that challenging for anymore.
I agree. Honestly as I kid I hope he would've came back with a godly transformation or something like many other rpg villains. Though as far as Phantasy Star villains go, only Zio and Helga are my favs. Though honestly I going through 2+3 on psp via sega collections
@@daehan8227 Well they did bring back Lassic who reuses this theme. He was the final boss of the original Phantasy Star. It's interesting that the Laughter theme is basically used as a fake out for the final boss. Both Zio & Lassic were presented as the final boss of PS4.
Man, this makes me incredibly happy. This game doesn't get nearly the credit it deserves. Music, gameplay, story, and style of this game are amazing. Would probably put Phantasy Star 4 in my top 5 games of all time list. Best $99.99 I ever spent.

Would be nice if Saga would remake 1 2 3. 4 just needs some touch ups and polishing. All these FF games and Dragon quest get remakes. Wheres the love for Saga! Lol Aah well. Igot the classics. It will do.

Easily the most impressive unexpected mid boss I've ever seen.
The fact that the game built him up as the final boss really helped. The entiere half game plot was 100% about this guy.
