Ryan blaming the Sims 3 for having disrespectful funerals. Meanwhile he engraves Bessie's epitaph "shouldn't of buried yourself" and hires a mixologist plus a DJ for Buster's funeral
one time i knew my sim was going to die, her lifespan was up and i knew for a fact she was dying that day, and the game let me throw a funeral so i did, and invited all her friends who were so shocked when she died towards the end but whose funeral did they think it was?? lmfao
I've been playing this game for a decade and I only recently realized that there are funerals and they come with the base game, because my sim is married to a ghost and when I wanted to throw a birthday party for the kids it gave me the option for the funeral
Why did it take this video to teach me that you can have FUNERALS in the Sims 3 😭 I have played this game for years and yet I'm still learning new stuff about it... crazy
Yeah, funerals are more or less like normal parties with 2 or 3 special interactions. They came with the base game after all. They didn't have an entire pack dedicated to them.
I remember years ago I threw a funeral for Gunther Goth and I of course invited Cornelia being that she was his wife. She then died of vampiric thirst in the middle of the kitchen at said funeral. I threw her funeral soon after lol.
I never knew TS3 offered funerals as a party type, and I've played it since it's 2009 release 😅Probably because I don't like letting my sims die, so I guess that makes sense now.
It has transportation, zoos, amusement parks, circuses, trips, concerts, magical world, islands, museums, zombie apocalypses, farms, ships. The bad thing is that they lack space travel, buses, airplanes, wild animals, a personality of emotions and being an influencer.
Nah, I wouldn’t get my hopes up about a Sims 4 pack… Hiring a mixologist for funerals might unironically be a good idea. Actual mourners (in my extended family at least) drink their sorrows away. You might as well do that in style.
I genuinely couldn’t imagine paying for funerals in the sims 4 when it came with sims 3 base game. Idk why but it just seems crazy to pay for a feature that was originally free
I've thrown house parties at the graveyard because funeral wasn't available to do there. Most treated it like date night. I thought it was because I didn't designate it as a funeral, but I guess it wouldn't have made any difference.
funerals in the sims 3 is so bad that should not even be considered funerals lmao. the sims 3 is the game with the most content, however some content definetly feel like was rushed or not worked well enough, specially store items
Adding funerals to Sims 4 won't make it better than Sims 3, all the other thousands of $ worth of packs hasn't yet accomplished that. I look at the funerals as they celebrate the sims life rather than mourn their passing and the funerals work. Though I have only ever done them once. Easier to just plant the grave in the back yard and let the sim haunt the house.
I had a funeral in the sims 3 and people were dancing I had to get my sim to talk about the deceased sim
The sims are really just there for a good time and I respect the hell out of it
@@ryanplaysthesims honestly they actually are
my sims 3 funerals just end up being parties, i even buy juice kegs lol
@ryanplaysthesims so what you're saying is that these parties are more-so a celebration of life rather than a funeral. I'm so here for that.
I've been playing the Sims 3 for 15 years... How did I not know about funerals?!?
There are funerals????????
My toxic trait is getting way too attached to my sims and never letting them die 😂 Consequently had no idea that funerals were a thing lmao
Me too
Probably because the last thing you think of is making a party after someone dies lol
I did not know either and I have been playing Sims 3 since the literal month it came out

It’s what they both would have wanted 🥰
@ryanplaysthesims sure 😂😂😂
Bessies’s epitaph made me laugh out loud. I had to rewind and watch again
@plumb5802 same. It was not what I expected

To be fair, if I was invited to a funeral, there was no body, and towards the end of the party, someone drops dead, I'd be pretty surprised.
I've played this Sims game regularly since it came out in 2009, I have all the expansions and I never knew funerals were a thing in the Sims 3!! 😮
I feel like such a fake fan since I only found out a few days ago too!
I found out yesterday, what the heck 😂
They aren't. Haven't you seen this?
I absolutely just love that you do sims 3 content 😭 it's defo my fave game ever 🫶

Putting the *fun* in funeral :)

Not the skull carpet for decoration 💀💀💀💀
Funerals are a thing in the Sims 3??!?!? How did I not know this???? I've played TS3 for over a decade now.
The sims 3 funerals be like: this sim drowned, let's make the dress code be swimwear.
You're not the first one to do this.
I remember years ago I threw a funeral for Gunther Goth and I of course invited Cornelia being that she was his wife. She then died of vampiric thirst in the middle of the kitchen at said funeral. I threw her funeral soon after lol.
loving the sims 3 content 🫶🏻
they literally put the FUN in FUNeral
Watching these makes me miss playing sims 3 sm!!
I always thought of it more like a wake than a funeral
Played this game since I was a kid and never knew you could throw a funeral!!😮

Sims 3 funerals are too chaotic i cant
Ryan puts the fun in funeral I guess
Maybe this should be described as a celebration of life lol. No one seems sad
The way they are booing the DJ 🤣
Never once have I seen one of your videos that wasn't absolutely hilarious and brought me joy, Ryan 😆🤍
"I'm going to make the next funeral more like a funeral!"
Proceeds to hire a mixologist and a DJ for the event. xD
How did I not know about Sims 3 funerals?
I didn't either!

What zoos? There are no ships or circusws.
Also amusement parks and circuses?!
@@pinkeynbThe boardwalk from roaring heights and a big carnival lot from the store
The Sims 3 has zoos?
It's a store lot?
@@alextaylor3763I will immediately be checking this out as soon as I get home! Thank you!
RyanPlaysTheSims but they are the actually best Sims channel
I would want someone to cook and serve hot dogs at my funeral too. I think that would be hilarious.
I had to switch from my tv just to comment, but the end had me laugh out loud omfg😭😭
You should have more friends unless they're dead 😂😂 savage

what screen resolution do you use for the sims 3? it looks so good and i can never get mine to look good

would you ever think about doing a long lets play in the sims 3? like following one sim/a family?
I'm literally crying 😂😂😂😂 the husband scream crying and nobody giving a duck omggggg hahahaahah
Looks like we need a Funeral mod for the Sims 3 😅
Ive been playing Sims 3 since it was released.
How did it take until today to find out about funerals?
The way you pronounce words 🥰
Your laugh 🤗
You’re so much fun 🥳
