Storm planet, 10/10 strategy in a nutshell: After I survived the beginning, I tried to cover as much surface as possible with lightning rod, cuz during storm that charges the batteries, they won't need spare parts and they can gather insane power during storm, while they keep your asset/people safe. Start: Only start building if you feel comfortable with the layout of the terrain. Building: power storage (4 metal) - solar panel (4metal) - Water - airlock - O2 - Canteen - bunk - biodome with 2 plants - processor - mine (in between 1 more power storage, 1 wind and 1 small rod) U have to micromanage to switch on/off the power and get 1 more biologiest and 1 medic asap because the workers will be crippled in the mine. Hint: have the airlock from the command centre that leads to the landing pad/starport so the intruders will face the sitting guards first.
While this game lacks an over arching story, the story is a struggle to survive. It punishes greed, requires precision, and you have the potential to just make a really big base.
I’d want to live in there. Ya there’s Methane Lakes and Methane Rain and it most likely ridiculously cold because Liquid Methane is there, but it’s actually pretty Earth Like. And yes I know Class S is based of the Moon of Saturn, Titan.
Thanks for enjoying my playthrough! But don't watch this old video, I just recently uploaded two new playthroughs: Class M: th-cam.com/video/HzFZkB0y0sg/w-d-xo.html Class S: th-cam.com/video/VahQi_JeVT0/w-d-xo.html
Great game dude, was looking for some tips as I'm having trouble with the game. I only gotten 4 milestones after tons of trial and error. I'm not good at city builders but trying to learn them more :)
Your comment is some years ago now. But if still interested In the game, then watch negark and tinypirate. I preciated their comments through all the hours😊
I love this video. It has stuck me to my seat for hours and you have been very fast but lucky at the beginning. Remember more air genertors! and fountains in the bars. I suspect it is possible to overlap the lightning rods more. Could you do another one?
It had been years since I originally played Planetbase. Before I started to record this video, I replayed the beginning of this map a few times until I found the right start. So, it wasn't luck, it was just trial and error. I also played the Freeman Chronicle: th-cam.com/video/MrIQpVGh-W8/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for enjoying the video :D I tried to do a commented video once but I was in a constant state of panic along the way. I guess I'll try it again eventually but it's really hard for me :/

The Freeman Chronicles offer at least some storyline: th-cam.com/video/MrIQpVGh-W8/w-d-xo.html
Michael J. Gets The Job Done thank you, man, I just saw some of that earlier today.
You know that if you have too many priorities for the same type of colonist they will get confused and do only one or two.
2:04:50 Watch as the actual guard just walks past the fight taking place right in front of him.
I guess his shift didn't start yet XD
Not before I had my coffee!

@@MichaelJGetsTheJobDone Did you notice that right after the lightning rod was first set up it was struck. You were lucky.
arthurwendover Haha, ok, this was luck I guess.
Зачем в начале разломал корабль? Ресурсы портятся на открытом воздухе. Израсходовал бы все, а потом разобрал на материал.
Makes it look pretty easy.
I love this game
I’m watching this 9:36 PM at night.
Same only later.
Best gameplay I ever see
Thank you! :D
@@MichaelJGetsTheJobDone man it's just soo satisfying the colonist, the strategies you earned a sub and like keep going man. I hope you get popular
