You might want to drop duolingo, finish learning the kana, and refocus some time to listen to native speech. You have more dedication then i do. I know you will go far.

Wow, this video is a interesting find. I also started learning Japanese seriously recently, in my case it was just 1 month ago and I'm at the end of section 1 in Duolingo! I guess i will subscribe to give me motivation and see how you are doing from time to time.

Thank you for your support and your advice. I have also seen others online recommend not using Duolingo and I think I will be dropping it.
