Nice review. I've been using the free version of the SwingU app for my distances but having to get my phone out all the time is becoming a real pain. May have to get myself one of these watches.
Oh no! Yes definitely do. You will not be disappointed. They have a few versions so it will be easier to find one with all the things you need and want.
the S42 doesn't ask you after each shot but you can add it into the app after the round. it still tracks the shots so just add in the club you hit for that shot and it will still keep all your data and stats on the app. I hope this helps. ☺
@@MikeSoutham You are right. It does have the feature but there has been some inconsistencies with it on half swings etc. If it doesn't come up then you are able to add it in the app. ☺

However, I would have liked to be instructed on how to understand what the lines mean when looking at the hazard info (didn’t know what I had accidentally discovered on my watch when I saw those lines, or how to get out of that screen), how the watch tells me how far I hit the club, what the little red line means on the outside of the face, how to keep score, etc.
This was a simple demonstration of the watch. I believe the red line you are referring to is the hole indicator. For the hazard information I think you are looking at the yardages to the front and back of the hazards. You may use the arrows to change hazard if there is multiple hazards or lay ups on the hole. To keep score, it asks you when you choose the course if you would like to keep score. All of the information can then be found in the app after your round ☺️ I hope this helps. ☺️
