Some people here don't seem to understand that Cody's always working. Kayfabe may be dead but he's still a Rhodes.
That's why he exposed the business by using words like ''not turning heel'' and exposing the business on his reality show?
Yeah he found out in the ring that he lost WM 39. So he says but we know better.
He did that in AEW, a product for smarks. They don't care about protecting the business or even their own health over there.
@@tallalmk6 the business had already been well exposed by then come on. We now can appreciate the athletic entertainment they provide, while also not needing EVERY little gossip detail about the inner workings.
He made it so clear too from the moment he sat down.

He basically said nothing. What a tool. If I was the interviewer, the moment he started beating around the bush and saying how much he loves everybody and how great AEW is, I would've asked him straight up "then why did you leave", and he would either be forced to answer or walk away, because I won't let him beat around the bush. Unlike the person before stated - @semyaza555 - I don't think that being "neutral" is even remotely good thing, or the way politicians say nothing is a good thing either. Btw you will see why I put your version of "neutral" in quotes later in this comment, because what Cody did is not neutral. Either say you don't want to talk about it, or don't talk about it at all. IMO, nothing is worse than people who talk and say nothing. Cody wasn't neutral, he flat out refused to answer the question, but instead of saying "no comment", he spent a few minutes saying nothing. Being neutral on the other hand means to be able to objectively look at things without bias and state what seems like the most logical reason for cause and effect, without a care in the world for how bad it may be.
Oh and thanks a lot of the timestamp OP!

Cody answering the question about when did he found out he was losing at WM 39 kinda feels like if the fans really got crazy they might've potentially let him won the title at WM 39 but if they didn't get the pop they were looking for this was the backup plan. Build the feud, get him approved and tested by Brock Lesnar, have cody win the royal rumble again and basically just turn him into the ultimate baby face so that when this time comes they get that pop, the reaction they want from the fans with cody being the face of the company.
