If you don't mind me asking but how much did the coil overs cost you as I'm in the process of building a ke70 with a Vn Commodore V6 in it with a t5 gearbox
When upgrading the KE70 to AE86 suspension, am I right in saying that I need the following AE86 bits: Brake calipers and discs Hubs Coilover/shocks and springs Anything else? Do the KE70 track rods fit the AE86 hub etc
Hey how did you guys get your knowledge of cars and all the parts. I’ve got a Silvia and my mates got a Ke and I’m just finishing my Crt 2 in automotive just wondering did you guys do any qualifications to get your knowledge or.
We just learnt when we wanted to modify/fix something by doing it, we've broken heaps of things but that's how it goes 😅 more recently we've had some help from professional friends when it comes to engine building etc

You will also need ae86 steering arms.
Is that the original ke70 hub assembly, or did you have to replace it to fit the 86 spindle?

The Twinkletoe Brothers a lot of research forums etc and trail and error, in time experience will come.

Why did you dismantle the brakes to Change the sleeve coilover?
Was to Change bearing since you are there or something?
The hubs and brakes run on a spindle which is attached to the strut so to swap to new struts you need to swap the brakes over! 😊

@@reff700 new setup came on its own strut so everything had to be swapped!
