If we are talking about college/university then Information Systems & Information Technology majors would be the most clear choices. I would also recommend minoring in a degree that expands your soft skills like communications and analytical thinking like communications, philosophy, comparative literature, mathematics, etc. Not a must have because you can get these skills elsewhere, but it would differentiate you.
Hi Angelo -- I just found your videos and website as I'm exploring career transitions, possibly to becoming a BA. Very informative! If possible, I'd like to quickly discuss with you where I've been, where I'd like to go and get your opinion if it's viable. I couldn't find contact info on your website. Please message me if you are available and how to arrange a consult. Thank you.
I don't exactly do consults. Long story short, if I set up time for everyone who asked for consultation/mentorship, I wouldn't have time to do my day job or make youtube videos. However, there are still options. Here are the options I do give to for contacting me. Contact Me To see a video response to your longer questions - www.metabusinessanalyst.com/contact-angelo-the-ba/ If you have a more personal/specific question and want a personal direct response (may still anonymize and post make a video to respond) use Facebook messager - Send me a message through page facebook.com/metabusinessanalyst - or directly in FB messager m.me/metabusinessanalyst
Most business analysts don't become BAs right out of school. Many common routes land you as a BA around your 30s. You are young enough to still anything you want. Here, th-cam.com/video/sXopZwe85KA/w-d-xo.html

Wish I can become a business analyst. Too bad it's too late for me, I'm already 26.
