There's a lot of teams competing in mixed in this world cup but i don't think you could classify it as growth. Lots of nations with access to a short/cheap flight to Nottingham makes a difference. I'd expect a significant drop off for the next one in NZ.
Agree there'll potentially be a decrease in number of teams in 2028, that was evident from Edinburgh 2011 to Coffs Harbour 2015. But if there's more teams than the last World Cup then that should still be considered growth, no?
