कमल कुमार की विकलांगता से success के शिखर तक की कुछ ऐसी ही कहानी है जो courage, talent और passion दर्शाती है| यह साहस वह शक्ति है जिसके आगे विशाल पर्वत भी तिनके समान साबित होता है | जानिये कैसे कमल कुमार ने अपनी (disability) दृष्टिहीनता को अपनी success के रास्ते में नहीं आने दिया| जिन्होंने अपनी विकलांगता को अपनी कमजोरी नहीं माना और असंभव को संभव कर दिखाया। लोगों ने कई बार उन्हें उनकी disability याद दिलाने की कोशिश करी, उन्हें बार बार स्मरन कराया की वो Andha है तो उन्हें सपने देखने का भी कोई अधिकार नहीं | जन्म से इस दृष्टिहीनता से जूझने वाले कमल कुमार के पास हौसले की कोई कमी नहीं है| कमल जन्म से Andha है जिसके वजह से उन्हें समाज में बराबर का दर्जा पाने के लिए कठिन सफर तय करना पड़ा पर वो कहते हैं न मेहनत और जज़्बा कभी बेकार नहीं जाता, आज कमल IIMC ( Indian Institue of Mass Communication) में students को Radio technologies & media का ज्ञान दे रहे हैं| कमल ने अपने career की शुरुवात एक TV चैनल के ज़रिये की और आज वह एक successful इंसान के भाँती normal से बेहतर ज़िन्दगी जी रहे हैं| कमल कहते हैं, "जब दूसरे लोग अपने सपनों को हासिलकर सकते हैं, तो हमें भी कोशिश करनी चाहिए." और सभी लोगों से अपील करते हैं, "कभी कोशिश करने से डरना नहीं चाहिए, नाकामी से डरना नहीं चाहिए और किसी बात के लिए हिचक भी नहीं होनी चाहिए. किसी बात के लिए शर्म भी नहीं करनी चाहिए , हम जैसे हैं best हैं. "खुदको बेहतर बनाएं और समाज अपनेआप बेहतर बनेगा” |
Who doesn't want to be treated well and enjoy the freedom to live and dream? But due to discrimination in our society, disability is treated as a weakness. A lot of people face rejection, but what matters is overcoming rejection. Kamal Kumar is a perfect inspiration for defying all odds and overcome the fears and overcome disability. Kamal Kumar was declared blind by birth. He faced discrimination in every phase of his life for being who he is, a man with no eyesight who still dares to see the dreams and is capable to put hard work to his journey to achieve goals. He was told at every stage of his life that being blind, he had no freedom to follow his passion and does not have equal rights as others. Kamal Kumar is now working in IIMC(Indian Institute of Mass Communication) and teaching students and following his passion to work in mass media. Not letting his disability come in his way of realizing his dreams, is now living his life on his demands. His childhood dream to work for Radio media industry, he is living it to the fullest.
After having no sight for years, the only thing Kamal says, with the positive attitude life seems beautiful only if we have the right perspective of it. The second we start the hard work to turn our disability into ability, we gain strength, and the road to success becomes easy.

मैंने अपने गत अनुभवों से यह समझा है कि डिसएबल लोगों को खुद से जितनी डिसेबिलिटी का एहसास नहीं होता, उससे कहीं ज्यादा समाज उसे डिसेबिलिटी का एहसास कराने में योगदान करता है। पर मुझे यकीन है एक दिन यह समाज बदलेगा और उसे बदलने वाले आप जैसे लोग ही हैं सर।

Really inspiring. I have a childhood friend. He became blind at the age of 21 suddenly. He might have underwent the regular depression cycle, helplessness etc. But somehow he got astrology prediction skills. His predictions turn true too.
