Iron Dome didn't down 99% of the drones. US, UK, France and Jordan had already shot many down before they reached Israel and the few that managaed to reach Israel still reached their intended destination.

Locals posted videos of hits and at least a dozen touched down and those videos were not maybe all so probably 95% were intercepted but it should be understood that to do that Israel had help from the U.S., U.K., and Jordan thinning them out before they got to Israel plus these were slower drones etc for the large part. So while a good performance, Israel used up lots of defence missiles and Iran did not use its best missiles. This was meant as a slap for Israel. A very determined all in attack would be a lot different, both in numbers, power and arrival speeds and Iran will have used this exercise to learn things and caused Israel to spend lots more money to def3md than Iran spent on cheap drones.

This was just limited air strikes by Iran they used slow drones as decoy and hit military airport with ballistic rockets. If this was full scale attack Iran would use thousands of cheap rockets and Israeli air defense would be helpless.

Iron Dome didn't down 99% of the drones. US, UK, France and Jordan had already shot many down before they reached Israel and the few that managaed to reach Israel still reached their intended destination.

I don’t believe the 99% figure. Locals posted videos of hits and at least a dozen touched down and those videos were not maybe all so probably 95% were intercepted but it should be understood that to do that Israel had help from the U.S., U.K., and Jordan thinning them out before they got to Israel plus these were slower drones etc for the large part. So while a good performance, Israel used up lots of defence missiles and Iran did not use its best missiles. This was meant as a slap for Israel. A very determined all in attack would be a lot different, both in numbers, power and arrival speeds and Iran will have used this exercise to learn things and caused Israel to spend lots more money to def3md than Iran spent on cheap drones.
