No original stage show that was hyped up for months, all the good songs are cut into medleys, obvious lip syncing...its the biggest rip off of the year. There are backing track vocals in addition to Blackie's live vocals. I guess this is a step up from straight-up lip syncing, but it's not what I was hoping they'd do. I much prefer the Inside the Electric Circus lineup with Johnny Rod. Johnny did the backing vocals and (as far as I remember) it was all live. There's way too much of this in rock music these days. I've already seen so many comments that say "Blackie sounds great!" Of course he does! Some of it is prerecorded!
The fact that they don’t play the solo in animal is a crime and I hate how this was the real me is the only headless children song they play. He could have cut a bunch of those horrible crimson idol songs

The problem with WASP live is the incessant use of lead vocals on backing track. Seriously wish he would just cut it out, especially in the really obvious parts (I fuck like a beast, feel your love etc). He can clearly still sing, so I don’t understand the need for it.
Blackie said in an interview that the stage was going to be the stage design for the Inside The Electric Circus Tour, but that stage design was scrapped.

I saw WASP in the 80s in London at the Lyceum and THAT was a proper show full of excitement and energy. I still love WASP but this performance has none of that old energy and the stage set is just bland and unimpressive.
He may be singing some but clearly the back track is carrying the load. It's obvious. Maybe he keeps Elvis so he can hide behind it and not been seen screwing up the lip syncing. As for how this tour was hyped, that's a pretty disappointing stage. I've been a WASP fan since 1984 and have never seen them however, so I of course would attend if this ever came near me.
