Harley & Indian Navigation SUCK !!!

- Today on the channel I have special guest, Marvelkid87. In this episode of Baggers and BS we discuss the short comings of Indian and Harley navigation systems connectivity to Apple Car play & Android auto. We discuss our personal issue with these navigation hiccups over a glass of pinot Noir, with a bit of bougieness. We start off with some behind the scenes shenanigans from our production team that lead us into our discussion of these top of the line preimium baggers and what we perceive to be a very curable 1st world issue. The auto industry seems to have manage to integrate this into all vehicles uniformly by this point, why can't these motorcycle industry giants do the same? We believe it to be somewhat of a safety concern, hence the video and of course to have a glass of wine at the baggers and BS studio /garage.

I added a device called "Car2play" so I could connect bluetooth and get carplay vice plugging in, as I literally HATE connecting a cord and having my handlebars tied to anything. But like I said below, EVERY instance of Carplay, you HAVE to have hands free...same in cars, the only stereo's that allow carplay to be ran are also capable of hands free voice commands ie for safety.

I believe cycle fanatix had an episode where he showed a device that will let you use CarPlay on your motorcycles
Yea i bought a device but isn’t working on the challenger. The cvo works no problem after flashing it.
Great topic and yes it's unfortunate that after spending all that money you get mediocre technology. That's how they try to keep us on the hook.

I know I’m asking for too much but I can’t wait till they have wireless car play available. I know you can get it with an adapter but these adapters get wonky at times. I feel at this point why even have a wire. You should have a wireless charger and wireless car play. Just dock your phone and go.
Yeah, I totally agree I mean, especially paying a premium, I’m quite frankly, even for the basic models it should be readily available.
This isnt a Harley or Indian issue....its an APPLE issue.....Apple requires that to use carplay it HAS TO BE hands free....they believe its a liability issue. This is why you need to enable the whims for carplay to work...whims is their hands free microphone (the jumper that people install is tricking the system to think it has a headset connected.....the flash is doing the same thing)....Its all on APPLE that they put in this ridiculous requirement, all the great legal minds, however I am sure that there is some A-hole out there who would try to sue them if they get in an accident while jacking around with their car play with their hands, saying its their fault for allowing people to be able to use carplay while riding....and some liberal judge would end up agreeing and awarding millions of dollars as well....we have done this to ourselves as a society with all the idiotic lawsuits over liability issues. ALso, found this from Marvelkids channel, you got a new sub and love both the bikes!!! You could rename the channel "Baggers and Bougie" and I would still watch.. 😛 (I had to look up how to even spell that!! LOLZ)
