I just ordered a 2025 preferred trend with AWD. I’m trading in my 2016 Jetta. My father owns a 2013 Sonata that he still uses and has been super reliable. Can’t wait to be driving the 25 Sonata.
Nice to see Canadian coverage. I didn't catch from your review if the trunk had a power close. The other review I've seen so far was a hybrid version from the US which did. I believe both Preferred and the N-Line have the hands free loiter around your trunk to open, but I think that's different from the power trunk close isn't it that's typically reserve for luxury class vehicles. Are you able to confirm if the Canadian preferred trim has it or not?
@@payasofeo69I did get AWD and thank god I did. Had to drive in heavy snowfall recently and snow mode made the drive basically normal with winter tires
They have them now. Drove both the N-line and the Preferred AWD not too long ago and they both had the heated steering wheel. The very first ones that shipped without the heated steering wheel button also have a recall to have them installed for the customers who bought them without the heated steering wheel. Takes just about a day to have that completed. Talk to your dealership.

Turbo mod on this would be noice!
This is only really a contender because as Canadians we are already paying like 60k for a camry prius or golf r

Thanks! Happy to represent Canada! The trim that I had did not have the powered trunk but I believe the N-line trim does have it
Sorry I missed it but do you know if you can just use standard cruise control instead of adaptive cruise?
Hi, I am not able to find a good dealership, what was the final amount you ended up negotiating?
Also does AWD help that much ? I am planning to get good winter tires
If you deal with a lot of snow yes. It’s a lot less shovelling, takes off a lot faster in the snow or rain.
