This is one of the MOST helpful videos of travel journaling that I have ever seen! I would love to see your "likes" and "didn't like" lists! I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary in the Lake District and it was so lovely. I, too, kept track of things I wish I had packed and what I didn't use. Even though it was in the 40s at night, I needed a portable fan to just keep the air moving and the Lord provided it!! A dear American family we ran into gifted me on of theirs! Also, I brought a silicone scrubby that fits on my hands since Europe doesn't use washcloths! I wish I had a good, packable rain jacket. My puffer was semi-water resistant but it was also a little too warm at time. I packed too many art supplies. I wish I would have made a list of my days like you did, because I really can't remember one day from another. My waterproof, lightweight hiking boots from Danner were a win as well as my wool pants! A little packable shopping bag was really handy. My new baggallini sling was great. Wool shirts were perfect. I still am not happy with my set up for walking and hiking with art supplies and purse items. I would love to see your sitting stool! Thanks so much for sharing this video! I will be coming back to it!
Thank you so much for your informative comment. We went to the Lake District on our 10th Anniversary! I'll do a video on my lists. I'm so thankful you found this video helpful. My focus when traveling is collecting memories instead of creating a masterpiece. It takes the pressure off. Feel free to ask questions...that's how I get ideas. Happy creating! Thanks so much for the compliment. ❤❤❤
Thanks for watching and commenting. I just rewatched the video and realized I missed a page that also has red geraniums. I'll post that one later, but glad this one spoke to you. There was SO MUCH to look at, it was a challenge to zone in on a similar subject. Have a super day! ♥️
@@nanamiss1793 thank you so much! I feel so blessed to have been able to go on this trip. I planned and saved for it for over a year and was so hopeful that my anticipation wouldn't be blown out of proportion to what I would experience. Each day was the best day ever, and the people I shared this experience with were experiencing the same. It was such a a joy to share it all together. ♥️♥️♥️
@@KariWaltz It must have been a very enjoyable and scenic trip. Please send greetings and appreciation to all those who were with you on the trip, you are a very nice group of people. 👍😇🏞️

Thank you! Cheers!
Love it! So many beautiful images that you captured! My favourite is probably the red flowers (geraniums?) around a window.

@@nanamiss1793 will do!
Looks like a great time.
Did you paint your watercolors with a water brush on the trip?
Sure did! I used traditional brushes for the gouache.
