The first Krang is literally the 87 Krang. They crossed over with the original show a couple times, so that's just him. The 2012 Krang (suprime version) is in fact Gilbert.
In a nutshell it's decent, not inoffensive but also such a quick experience that it's definitely a wait for a sale unless you care about physical media and need to grab a disk before it disappears. It's an hour of content
In the 2012 series, Bebop was a master thief, but he did have a few dance moves. He does look a little funky because he's so skinny. Chris Bradford was a character who got mutated once into a guy called Dogpound. Then he got mutated a second time into Rahzar .It may be the only instance of double mutation I can think of, at least in this iteration. Tokka is a giant space alien, so they have nothing to do with each other.
I actually remember playing and enjoying the TMNT 3DS game based on the Michael Bay movie. It was a solid Diablo-type game and probably one of the better Turtles games released during the mid-2010s. They game even had Cam Clarke reprising his role as Leonardo from the 1987 TMNT cartoon!
In 2012 Rahzar was originally another mutant named Dogpound who fell into vat of Mutagen and got mutated a second time. That’s why he looks so fucked up.
Should I have waited for a sale? Yeah. I don't regret picking it up right away. I already knew from the trailer it wouldn't be as good as Shredder's Revenge but it's a rare game starring the 2012 Turtles so I'm fine with it.
Right, but it's been re-released years after Shredder's Revenge, and they added new levels and bosses. Maybe there was a tight budget? But why not add a story, unlockables, or slightly more in-depth mechanics?
@@flophouseplays True. There isn't enough to warrant the current asking price. I was going to say maybe more will be added later but then I remembered Cruisn' Blast didn't get more stuff afterward either so I won't hold my breath.
I'd say developer Cradle Games (Hellpoint, Jumanji Adventures) delivered the definitive version of this title. If you played the arcade version then you'll know exactly what your getting here, however this version includes exclusive new content in the form of 3 new stages & 6 new boss battles which in turn lengthens the game a bit more. Along with the returning stages of NYC, T.C.R.I. & the Sewers, the 3 new exclusive stages consists of the Amusement Park (which has become my personal favorite stage), Dimension X and Shredder's Lair. In the original arcade version, Shredder's Lair was just the boss battle with Saki in one specific room. In the home port, it's a full fledged stage where you have yo get to him before fighting him, so definite bonus points on that. Returning boss battles are here with Bebop, Rocksteady, Chrome Dome, Baxter Stockman, Krang '87 & Kraang Sub Prime (who in the home port now serve as the bosses for the new Dimension X stage which makes more sense instead of them being the bosses in the T.C.R.I stage like in the arcade version), while the 6 new exclusive boss battles consists of Tiger Claw (T.C.R.I), Karai (Shredder's Lair) Rahzar (Amusement Park), Fishface (T.C.R.I), The Creep (Amusement Park) & Super Shredder (Shredder's Lair). In the original arcade version, once Shredder is defeated, you've completed the game. Here, once he's defeated, he transforms into Super Shredder for one final boss battle, so again, bonus points for that. If I have any slight nitpicks it's that 1) for some reason, the arcade intro of Shredder kidnapping April to lore the turtles is nowhere to be found And 2) the arcade ending had voice overs for the characters. Here? It's just dead silence with text. Weird. Especially when they got the original voice cast of the show to voice all new lines specifically for this game. With that being said, I had a good time with this one. Cradle Games did a very solid job with bringing this arcade game to home consoles, and the exclusive stages and boss battles are absolutely a welcome addition. Don't let the GameMill Entertainment logo scare you away with this release since they've been pretty infamous with their recent releases, as this one is definitely a good one. IMHO worth the $30.
There is an entertainment center in oshawa Ontario, that had the first godzilla arcade cabinet In canada. It is called nebs. When I seen it , it was really busy. I wanted to try it.
I don't know if there was much hope from the same publishers who churned out Skull Island: Rise of Kong, like it wasn't their game this time but still they seem to put very minimal effort to do stuff beyond what was originally there.
6:00 Matt: "Oh my god, now I'm just remembering what Bebop looks like in the 2012 show. Oof, not lookin' forward to that." Me: "Really? Why?" Looks up Bebop in 2012 show. ".... Oh... oh. Ooooohhhhhh....."
Most of my Ninja Turtles' knowledge is from the 90s and earlier, so I had to look up your catchphrase remark and is baffled by the change to Booyakasha 😂
I think they did have Muckman in this series, he was a garbage man that got turned into a garbage man. There was also a 2012 version of Mutagen Man, who is all kinds of existential body horror.
An arcade I worked at had this game but the tech in charge of setting the games up made the difficulty so stupidly hard that you couldn’t even beat the first level without dying.
I am glad this game got released as it will at least be preserved, but the price is way to high for this. Maybe if it was around $10 mark it would be fine but it’s at the $20 dollar range which is way too much.
Bebob in the new turtles show's whole thing is he's a thief for hire with a big tech scene and an obsession with michael jacksons moves and he and the russian soviet rockstead in this like did some stuff that pissed offf the boss shredder and as punishment he and rocksteady were forcibly mutated. pretty dark heh
Kinda wish the first arcade game was remastered or remake but they added NES features, The added bosses and levels. But that sound like better dlc for Shredder's Revenge.
I imagine the real boss theme for this game might as well be the MegaMan X3 boss theme. Also was that 3rd Strike-esque KO thing a video bit or actually part of the game? Wha?
I’ve spent so much money on my kid playing this at the arcade that they should have done the decent thing and just given me the goddam thing after it was paid off twice.
3:56 “Sucks that we never got a Rise of the TMNT game.” That’s exactly what I’m saying! Would’ve been awesome to play as each of the turtles with different mystic powers.
One thing I don’t get from this console port is why no online play/cross play which really would’ve benefited on its release. Which also reminds me, since this is from raw thrills what happened to that Cruis’n blast online update? Did that ever came out?
It did not. There was never any update to it, which made me sad. The only thing I can think/hope for, was that they shelved the DLC plans to make a full on sequel for Switch.
This just looks so basic. There's like no flair to moves, enemies, the music, the sounds. Yeah, they advertize they got the cast back, but, from what I've seen, they each just recorded a few lines and that's it. I watched all of 2012 TMNT when it was coming out and I'm more invested into this than the 2003 ones (watched that one too), but this does nothing for me. Shredder's Revenge this ain't, which is not radical if these are your turtles.
Definitely the best TMNT show IMO, having seen all of them now. In the later seasons, some surprisingly solid story telling, funny moments, and amazing voice cameos. Getting to listen to Michael Dorn acting the villain was an auditory pleasure. Spoiler warning: Also really liked the storyline after earth was destroyed.
I played one level and immediately uninstalled The gameplay is decent but literally everything else is meh I don’t hate the 2012 presentation but this game doesn’t have any of the things I like about that show
I remember playing this at a Chuck 'N Cheese for my little nephew's birthday years ago. The game's ok , but it didn't really leave an impression on me. It's definitely no Turtles in Time.
The dialogue feels so dull. I remember people feeling annoyed by the 2k3 version "eat feet", "slice and dice", "bangzoom" and etc but it felt like their characters and they did it with a passion. This one feels really repetitive and it lacks any enthusiasm. The voice actors are just pretty much saying the lines and that's it.

Rise of TMNT sucked and should not have a game. This game was pretty ok for what it was.
On the one hand, I can't totally hate it, as it's one of the handful of games released that is actually a WHOLE GAME. (No DLC or any of that junk.) Yup, late Gilbert Gottfried voiced Kraang Subprime in TMNT 2012 cartoon.
21:20 Yes and no. He *is* the Original Krang from the old show. He crossed dimensions and cameos in the 2012 show to cause trouble.
I actually like most the designs for TMNT 2012, it was a weird amount of body horror going on for a kid's show and I am here for it
In the 2012 series, Bebop was a master thief, but he did have a few dance moves. He does look a little funky because he's so skinny.

The best version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in arcade form will be the very first TMNT and TMNT for turtles in time.

Yeah, that was it!
Didn't expect to hear Matt begging for head this whole video.
2:22 there's the tennis player Rafael Nadal (who I only know exists because my dad likes to watch tennis)
also Raphael the Raven
They released this right after the TMNT roguelike was announced, probably deliberately
I assume they made Bebop all skinny to "match" Rocksteady, like the Waluigi to his Wario

So you mean, TMNT: Smash-Up?
No one expects a ninjas special technique to be throwing explosive boxes.
