Shay this is a nice curl. I'm glad you are reviewing more Be Famous Beauty curl patterns. I love the thought of the company and have the Akili hair but I'm nervous about installing because it's been so hot here in NYC so I wont do it until October, I want to wear it at 14 or 16 inches. I want to try that comb and should I be jealous that they gave you the bonnet as a bonus? Thanks for sharing have a great weekend

Can I ask what the texture of this is like? Is it course/rough or soft/silky?
Its right in between. Soft not silky. Kind of like a blow out, or a roller set on natural hair.

I recieved the hair earlier today and was very excited to make crotchet wig with the hair to see what the difference is. I got the #30 hair. This hair is no different than the cheaper synthetic hair. I feel like it was a waste of $80. The hair is already very tangled while making the wig. The hair has a tougher texture like Mane concept hair but honestly, I was more impressed with Mane Concept hair. This hair is not worth $80. I expected it to be different but it's not for the price.
Im sorry you experienced that. I absolutely loved the hair. And it held so well for me and I am really rough on my hair.

I haven’t tried it in a beach setting, but i would think so. I did get rained on pretty bad trying to get to my car and still pineappled it when i got home and the next day it was still fine. ❤️
I have a question I normally have to soak my Kima Ocean Wave hair in an apple cider mixture so that it won't irate my scalp, is that necessary with this hair? Also if I get it wet and soak it anyway will it mess up the hair?
If you have an allergy to synthetic hair or alkaline then I would definitely do a rinse to be safe. It is water friendly so it shouldn’t mess up. I would however, twist the hair first before wetting it and lay it flat to dry. ❤️ hope this helps sis ❤️

The hair has more of a blow out texture. I wouldn't cut it in half because it really restricts your length flexibility when installing.
Purchased this hair a couple days and it STILL has not shipped. I emailed them and no response. I really wanted to do my hair before Halloween but at this point I think I just want my money back. I'm extremely frustrated.
