Nothing makes me feel more powerful than doing stuff like this alone.
But also I am a hardcore introvert (probably the only reason I enjoy solo trips) but also part of the adventure is never pass up and invitation to something like a sing a long or whatever (as long as the people don’t give you the creeps)! I have had so many fun adventures by saying YES! I meet a group of girls at Go Wild this year like that. I came alone, they sat at my table and we parted. One randomly saw me in the hall and flagged me down and invited me to lunch with them. I was exhausted but said yes and now we all still talk daily. Saying yes opens doors to things you could never have imagined.
Omg they still have SNOW in Colorado it’s SUMMER. AMAZING
Watching this makes me want to do car camping with my family. Love being able to watch your adventures ❤

Never feel weird doing stuff as a solo! You can go anywhere and do anything you want! I go to movies, shows, and restaurants by myself all the time! So glad you ended up going to the zoo ☺️

so cool to see your car camping set up! i don't know a lot about it so to see all the little gadgets and things that you have to consider when you are doing it that way was really interesting. it's been fun following your journey from setting the goal in the beginning of the year to making it a reality :)

The Rockies are extremely intimidating to me. I sympathize with your trek up Pike’s Peak. Also, you have me craving a hot dog and Ketchup. But it is breakfast time here so I settled on a piece of toast with peanut butter.
Lastly, it is not strange to go to the zoo alone. The animals need to be entertained by the silly human beings! 😂

What a great trip! It was a good mix of wilderness and city. You saw some great stuff, some of which I have been to, but some I haven't and have now added to my must see list.
My husband, 2 sons and 2 grandsons are going on a "guys trip" next week to see Mount Rushmore and other things along the way. It will be great for them and I'm going to have a great "me time" week at home. But I gotta say I'm looking forward to the "girls trip" next year! LoL

I used to get really really scared driving mountains and then I switched and pretended I was in a video game.
So driving up and down a mountain I am driving up and down a mountain in a video game.
I love your car set up. The only thing I would add is dish soap.
How do you plug in the fans when you need them? Do you use the back up power bank in your miscellaneous box?
I have dish soap in my little kitchen caddy. It comes in handy when I need it.
They charge. So I can charge them while I drive (I have USB ports all over the car) or I can charge them with my battery pack.

I do! I’ve had 2 CR-Vs and love them.

I think it was Meow Wolf. It was just so cool. But the stuff in Bailey was fun too. Quirky is right up my alley.
Awesome video… I’m inspired. I just got back from a round trip drive from northern VA to southern FL. I actually love driving and your car camping looks very interesting. It would be good to know about how much it costs to stay wherever you stay overnight.
I linked the campsites in the description. There are some expensive ones but I tried to stick to the mid range ones. I chose mine mainly for safety reasons (larger campsites or by myself at someone’s house) so they were a little more pricey than I probably could have gone.
I had to go back and watch it again 😊 I remembered I wanted to tell you we went to a similar cave place in New Hampshire last year and I also got extremely wiped out way sooner than I thought I would! Where did you get your taser and the cool water sprayer thing? Didn’t see it in the Amazon shop.
