9:17 I hate how even to this day I haven't found a single react channel that noticed that each time Megumi begins the chant his enemies all freak the fuck out or if they're monsters like Todo and Sukuna they get fucking hyped. That foreshadowing is amazing and it sucks even more knowing people won't remember that when he actually gets it off in Shibuya unless MAPPA adds a flashback.
The shonen syndrome. "Oh this is a shonen, it will have lot of throwaway dialogues so I don't need to pay attention". Like AoT, JJK rewatch hits extra hard when you notice all the subtle things the beautiful dialogues and reactions tell us, the slow revelation of the power system etc. Heck even in first watch it baffles me people didn't fall in love with JJK dialogues. Mahito, Todo, Megumi all stand out. Also small correction, but Megumi never tried to summon Mahoraga against Todo. He was simply gonna go all out and actually fight. It also doesn't make any sense since he wasn't going to sacrifice himself there obviously.
@@valhallakombi7239 yup that's why im rewatching the first season to see the seeds that are planted for where the manga is current at it's interesting af bc my first read/watch thru I'm bound to miss some details here and there so it's cool to see different foreshadows and character arcs progressing from the beginning
