Watching the videos on Turnip 28 has gotten me interested in fantasy settings again. I had gotten bored of generic fantasy, and Turnip 28's concept is so odd and interesting. A Napoleonic post-apocalyptic setting full of crazy, root vegetable worshipping cults? I mean, that's a sentence I didn't expect to ever type out. But the look and style are just so strange. Dark yet whimsical fits. With my Five Parsecs campaign finished and the rest of the story almost finished writing, this might end up taking some of my time until I have the next campaign prepped

    Really enjoying your first regiment.
I'm going to have to find some orchestra miniatures to play in the background of the battle :D

I'm enjoying your Turnip28 content. Please keep making and sharing with us. I fell in love with Turnip28 and have been trying to find and share as much content as I can. To that end I have been sharing links to your Turnip28 videos in the Turnip28 fan group on Facebook. It's still sort of small but growing. The group was under 200 members when I joined a month or two back. It's now up over 300. Great videos like yours definitely help to show prospective players what the game is about. Thank you again.

Pretty cool, I'm also have a unit of bastards on table now. But it's going nowhere since I never painted horse before. I false started a couple of times tho.

I would say that never having painted a horse figure is not necessarily a disadvantage here. Since all of the animals used in Turnip28 are at best root infested or full on root animal hybrids. So I would say load them up with weird textures and paint them up with colors that a horse and a plant would have. And just blend and blur the lines between what is plant and what is horse. No real right or wrong here. Good luck man.

Yea painting something for the first time can really be intimidating. I'd just dive right in, give em a strip if you aren't happy. Once you know what it feels like it'll be much easier to build momentum.

I dont know why people spend money on texture paste. Just mix craft paint into spackle. Excellent paint on the model.
