Thank you so much for your videos and all the work you put into them. An even bigger thank you for using so little Photoshop. I often read in the comments that “you could have done that with Photoshop” but I think it’s great that you teach us how to do it the “technical” way. I guess it’s a personal preference but I prefer to learn how to make it first and then learn how to fake it. I mean if we’d want to take photos the easy way we might as well use autofocus too. Long story short: thanks for all the techniques you’re teaching us. (Sorry, English is not my first language, I hope what I wrote makes sense)
I absolutely love all of your images and how you go about accomplishing your vision. Then comes the reality of me trying to recreate using my limited gear as a hobbiest.
Hello, I am busy photographing a pomegranate with seeds. This is exactly what I'm looking for. I was concerned about the shadow, but now I see that you don't have to remove it. Thank you very much for this video! Gr Henk👏
Thank you for the tutorial. I like your way of explaining things. Now i now it is not a bad thing, but would you consider a tutorial leaving the light stamps out. Again it is a personal thing. Thank you in advance. Paul
May I please ask you the brand name or supplier of the very large eye-cup which is attached to your Camera. I have been trying to locate one but nobody seems to stock it! [But then again, I'm located in NZ!!!] Thanks so much for the clear and detailed way you explain your techniques. I've learned so much from this channel. Kindest regards, Paul.
Many thanks. I have at last found the item in the US and it's on its way to me. Hopefully, it will be here in 7 days! Many thanks, Paul@@CameraClubLive
I always learn so much by watching your videos. Is it possible to make a video with shiny or reflective objects? I always find it hard to get the right results..thank you
I have been enjoying all your fantastic tutorial videos and decided to try art studio photography myself. Equipped with decent camera bodies and a set of lenses what I am missing is lightning heads. Profoto are expensive so what other brand and couple heads types, one for the main light and another for moonlight would work for the start? I would appreciate your suggestions. Thank you again.
What are the benefits of using a high-quality studio light instead of a simple flashlight like Godox V860, especially when photographing still subjects?
If you’re doing the odd studio session, then there is no advantage. However, if you are using it all the time you will get the advantage of repeatability and Reliability. People say the gear doesn’t matter and it doesn’t. It’s the technique and understanding that makes all the difference.
I have so many tomatoes, so I shall try to do something similar with my tomatoes ! Great ! Thank you again 🍅🍅🍅 !
Hope you enjoy
More than excellent episode. Thank you very much for teaching. Have a great time.
Thanks, you too!

You could try Godox. They are inexpensive and reasonable energy. I have included a link below.
