The lady did a good job on his hair. 👍🏼♥️ Hopefully, she told you about certain hairspray to use for the braids and cornrows. The apple cider is basically to detox getting rid of any dirt/ germs on the scalp Your mixed your hair line will be fine.

Finally a positive video about the skills of black women hair dressers
Tried to get dreads 3 times and all 3 times I got frustrated bc my hair wasn’t how I wanted it. And either combed it out or cut it. But this year gonna be different. I’m starting my locs again 💯
They ain’t gon look good at first bro, but you gotta go through the ugly to get to the good, I started my dreads off wit my Mohawk and it look ugly asf at first, but after the 3rd retwist after 4 months, it looked waaaay better… just give your journey a year chance, I promise you won’t regret it❤️, I recommend doing the the palm twist method btw, they grow a lot faster in my opinion
It’s going to take about 2 years at most for your locs to just begin to mature you have to be patient
My hair has been loc'd for 8 months, and nobody but the people in my house and the person that does my hair knows what my hair looks like. I have so many hair wraps. My loctician is always surprised at my growth. I started at my forehead, and I was at my nip of neck. I will not show my hair til I pass my shoulders. So do it and be patient. You can always cover your hair in public.

When you go get a retwist and detox done the detox will always be longest part of it because, that is months or years of buildup in your locs that they trying get out of your locs. While it’s good to know how to do your own hair soon or later you will always go to professional to get done because, busyness in your day to day, damage to your hair that you can’t fix on your own, and sometimes you want to pamper yourself. A tip for next time oil is dripping from your hair take both of your hands to catch the oil than rub them together than rub them all over your locs so, moisturize, and give shine to your locs.
