@@mmsoothingsounds Yeah me too. My aunt and nan both had to clean the fireplace and rebuild it every morning. It looked like a real pain. In the end, nan only lit it for Christmas, and switched to a stinky paraffin heater for the rest of the year. I guess the house has central heating now.
@@Martial-Mat Wow, I can imagine how much work that must have been! It must have felt special to light it up just for Christmas, though. I bet the central heating makes things a lot easier now, even if it doesn't have quite the same charm!
@@mmsoothingsounds Yeah it was special. As a little boy, I'd sleep on a furry rug in front of the fire. She'd put a fire guard around it. I loved it then, but would would never have an open fire now. Now I have water radiators and a electric fan heater for a quick boost. Less charming but so much easier and cleaner.
This is so nice room love the light rain sounds
Thank you

Thank you! Yes, fireplaces are cozy but a bit of work-and can be a little smoky too. I love a cozy room!

It’s amazing how we evolve in terms of comfort and convenience. While an open fire has its charm,

I know, right? I'll definitely be uploading some Thanksgiving and Christmas ambiance videos soon. Thanks for the feedback!"
