Hi..You said, the soundtrack is nostalgic..are you saying its based on another Wolfenstein ost? Its been a while and don't remember much about classic Wolfenstein tittles..
@@markorager6179 Oh I see what you mean..Yeah, bought this game during a sale on PSN then I bought New Colossus and later I bought Youngblood..Thus, completing the Alt History Collection..I didn't realize I owned all three until a couple of months ago and it was only a month ago I played both New Order and Old Blood..so yeah, better than never..
One of the best pieces of music from the game. Shame it wasn't part of the OST. Why composers keep doing that to my favourite OSTs, I could never figure out.
It's so infuriating. I see it all the time and I don't understand why people do it. One of my all time favourite sound tracks is 28 Days Later and for some reason the film version of In The House In a Hearbeat wasn't added. The film version is different, it's longer and slower and it was never offically released and so the only way to hear it is watching the movie. People have made bootleg versions but they're not perfect, still better than nothing.
@@BraunStDenis I know this is late, but my assumption would be due to the legal disagreements between the actual composer of that soundtrack and the company. Mick Gordon is completely in the right, he basically wasn't paid properly for the work he did, on top of being extremely overworked with no additional compensation. Also, they wanted level soundtracks completed before the actual level was completed, which wasn't possible since Mick Gordon fashions the music to the level so that they go together well. This resulted in the soundtrack being pushed back further until it was revealed Mick Gordon never actually agreed to a soundtrack release (If they wanted to release one, he needed to sign a document so that he would receive a percentage of sales, since he made the music) Half the eternal soundtrack was not mixed by gordon due to these issues, and the soundtrack being pushed back was because of confusion regarding whether or not it was legal to do so under the circumstances. Sorry for the long message- hope this clears it up!
Wolfenstein Ended at the New Order for me. I found Wolfenstein 2 to be less exciting then TNO, Wolfenstein two felt more plain. I guess i prefer of Old graphic type games. I loved The Old Blood and TNO because it felt simpler. No cutting edge graphics. Just pure fun and story telling. Either way TNO is the best game ive ever played and i will take that to the grave with me.
The greatest final level to one of the greatest First Person Shooters, this game brought back the praise of the Single Player Shooter and without Wolfenstein The New Order, we wouldn’t have DOOM (2016) as it is today
I swear there used to be a version of this on TH-cam which included some of the ambient noise of the level, along with Totenkopf ranting over the speakers - and of course, near the start, BJ saying _"I'm in your house, General. Is this the day?"_
This really should've been the last chapter in B.J's story in the new Wolfenstein. The other games should've been others. New Order did such a great job at throwing BJ into a world he no longer belonged in, and was literally a "man out of time." The last mission in particular had these mood of it being a one-way trip, with BJ himself knowing he would not be walking out of the compound after entering.
@@michaelmerritt7406 I always liked TNO's ending as the ending to BJ's character. The scene surrounding BJ's "death" was extremely poignant, and felt final, and like something the game was building up toward. BJ's life christens a small spark of hope in this new world, fighting to his last breath to save people and extinguish the Nazis. They easily could've kept going with the others and given the player somebody else, Anya or Wyatt or somebody, but I guess not
during my most recent playthrough of tno I got a sense of somewhat dread while listening to this at the end knowing damn well I sacrificed the 18 year old kid, and I even shed a tear or two
I feel like I've been looking for this track for years. I've always heard some sort of music in my head for the longest time now, it sounded almost just like this. I barely knew anything about Wolfenstein before this year, but I swear I've heard this track for years now.
Crazy to think how in 1946 he came with an Army, now in 1961 its just him, and he defeats Deathshead alone, to settle a score. Such a fucking good game Edit: I say 1961 not 1960 cause the final mission takes place 3 months later, in January 1961

Do you reckon you could dig into the game files of Far Cry Primal and release some unreleased tracks from it on day? There's a few tracks I want but can't seem to find, 2 examples being the music that plays when you upgrade a building in your village and when you take an outpost. Admittedly a bit short.
Honestly, not really. I've never played / don't have Primal so it would be difficult for me to know which tracks are you talking about and find them in the files (especially since working with Dunia engine can be a bit weird at times if I remember well) Funny timing tho, I was contemplating few days ago if I should share some of my own gamrip mixes from Far Cry 4 which I've been sitting on for years.
with this music i might became a Führer and conquer highlands and resources and move humanity to forward with robotics, synth resources, neo-industrialization to space! but it will stay as dream because reality of revolution will or might kill me.
