Many look more what others do and are they good enough, instead of being happy for others if they are happy. Especially we have this saying that our country men are willing to pay a hundred for to prevent their neighbour getting fifty.

I know I am not a good person. I surely know I am not a perfect human being. But I will try to serve God with joy and be a blessing to someone around me who has a need. Maybe two people who have a need that I can help them with. And in doing this, I will please them and please God. I will also try to stop asking God in prayer for things for myself and start thinking about what I can do for Him instead.

    • @nomorecensoringme

That's awful thinking that you're 'not a good person'. That's not what G-d wants. We have two sayings some keep, one in each pocket. Paraphrased:
But for my sake was the world created.
I am but dust and ashes.
The one gives you a sense of worth, while the other gives you a sense of humility.
No one is a 'perfect human being' so you're in good company. Wanting to do for others means you're pretty terrific.

None of us are good. But the Mechiach was good for us. If we trust in Mechiach being good on behalf of all of us who are bad, God will account Mechiach being good on our behalf as if we are good,, but it is the Messiah's goodness accounted to us that makes us to be accounted good."No one does good, all are corrupt, no one is good, no not even one." Hi, Catholic friend here. Hope you don't mind me dropping by. I enjoyed this video very much! Rabbi Friedman, your wisdom is a gift. I know there are many differences in our faiths, but the similarities in your message and the wisdom you share is very familiar to me. There are some things here that I haven't heard before. Some things I have been taught that you put In a different way. The idea that our purpose is to do what God requires of us, reminds me of something my mother taught me. Forget about what you want and what you need. God has already provided, you just need to see that. Let go of your ego and learn to serve. Serve God and serve others. That is your purpose and that will give you meaning. That's what God wants from you. Its amazing to me how much fighting there is in the world over the few differences, when the similarities are so much more vast and important. Thank you sir, I've learned a few things and have some to think about. God Bless and Mazel Tov to you all!

Moshiach is 'coming', being born to a woman, in the Davidic line. He will have a positive impact on the entire world since everyone will realize that there is one G--d, the Creator. He will build the Third Temple, as the place for G-d to dwell here, after the Redemption, when all will return to be united here with G-d, and loved ones, to live in a perfect world.

No, not 'tolerance', which is "accepting" things that you don't agree with, which has become a "free for all", of no standards, no morals, everybody does what they want. No. That is going backwards. G-dliness is to be encouraged, not debaseness.

Never ever. We don't know where the last 10 tribes are, we don't even know where many of the other two tribes are. This is why I'm good to everyone, bec that person can be part of the tribes. Anyway, it says that even good people not part of the tribes are going to recognize God, or whatever God is. The whole world will be at peace.

'Any'? You mean 'all' don't you? Think it's only 'Jews'? Go to a play on NYC that you pay to see once to have it interrupted. Go to movie. There's usually one person who forgets. Though in this crowd it could be a doctor, a parent with a sick child at home. Someone waiting for important news. We don't know.

You are so right ! Also I feel we don't have the Temple mount because even if we had the opportunity to rebuild the Third Temple, we wouldn't be able to agree on anything. Orthodox will not accept a single conservative, reform and so on Kohen or Levite to serve in the Temple. We have to come together. But it must be according to Torah. I am Orthodox and see that we wouldn't be able to come to a middle ground.

Maybe if we start by removing the labels. Rabbi Friedman has said as much. As the Rebbe, of blessed and righteous memory, said 'a Jew is a Jew'. It starts with acceptance by one person (could be you), then the next, etc, until we are one people.
