    In this video I cover a couple tips to help you dry out the skatepark and get a session in when you otherwise might not have been able to.

    That branch tip is seriously the best. Even if there's not a tree at the park there's usually one within a couple hundred yards. You're almost making me wish it rained more out here so I could use that trick lol.

      Absolutely it works pretty well but honestly the towel worked 100% as good as a real floor squeegee would.
      As you saw in the video, it dried up pretty quick after using it. That was about a 30 minute period of waiting with on/off sun.
      Thanks for watching!

      @Brant_Moore a towel is an awesome thing to keep in your trunk too cause it can be used for so much besides a squeegee and it takes up next to no room, especially compared to a real full squeegee.
      Thanks for the great content man! I really appreciate the effort you put into this for us.

    There's a couple small bowls at my skate park that fill with water when the drains plug with leaves so I gotta trek through 2 feet of water to unplug it lol

    I will also note it was a beach towel and it worked best after being saturated. It also seemed to work best in the deeper puddles.

    How long does it normally take for a skatepark to dry

    • @Brant_Moore
      @Brant_Moore  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There’s a lot of factors that come into play. Temperature, wind, clouds, humidity. So it’s always different. This park if it’s sunny and warm takes anywhere from 30 minutes to dry a light rain to 2 hours to dry a heavy downpour

    Haha I was on this halfpipe that I'm all ways on and had a lot of water puddles so I decide to just go threw it with my bike but doing to much made the ramp part wet and slippery. I soon as a landed my tires slide out and I fell side ways and slid into the puddle of water on the halfpipe

    A squeegee is a good investment for long term, instead of having to wash/buy towels after every sesh

    I don't think you should advise people to break trees to dry off a skatepark. If you are in an area that rains a lot and someone starts to use that technique, could kill the tree in the long or short run, especially if there is only a small tree to use. Overall good video and as usual, you present your thoughts very well. :)
