Nyaj Tshaav Ntuj: Sunshine Money-- More Than Just Sunshine

Funeral practices are one of the most significant traditional practices of our Hmong Culture that portrays our treasured history and noble kinship. During a funeral, a general phrase is articulated in lieu of thanking generous donors. Having learned this phrase, I have a deepened understanding on some of our cultural values: communal and moral support. Take a look into my video of the general phrase I grew up learning to thank generous donors on behalf of my beloved loss ones.
