18:55 completely agree about Company of One. My wealth management firm is setup that way as well. However, a problem I’ve run into is the lack of sense of urgency in my contractors and business partners, because money is not the primary motivation for most of them. I’ve observed a pattern of successful people being complacent and plateauing. Instead of trying to 20x their business, they instead think about taking extra vacations once they’re making enough to pay the mortgage and their kids’ college tuition. These people are frankly so spoiled and could use another Great Depression to remind them that business is a constant life-and-death struggle.

In my experience, people seem allergic to facts. They either deny to your face or just switch subject, etc... or they find the lamest excuses to dismiss facts, yeah but this study, this and that.
I give them a whole list of facts & studies and at the end, they still reply: yeah, but that's just your opinion. It's exhausting.

Rich is right, and I do agree with the “women wait at the finish line” concept. I stuck by my (now) husband thru the shit economy and his business falling through years ago. It wasn’t easy, in fact, he was an asshole to me back then lol. I’m not sure why I stayed at certain points, aside from being in love. It wasn’t a scarcity mentality, and I’ve always had options (was in 20s back then), but I’m glad I stuck with him. Also, I already knew he was super motivated with his purpose…it wasn’t his fault the business tanked. We’ve lasted through some crazy shit even since then. I think this is the “one man only” mentality that rang true…the thought of starting over and adding a new guy or new notch is worse than sticking with a guy I love….who I know is going just through a tough phase. My mental health job may have also given me some insight into his thought process at the time too…I can honestly say I wouldn’t have stuck around for just any guy though. I thought he was marriage material, so that’s probably what kept me around and away from other prospects. I saw him as the best…hypergamy is totally true. The boyfriend I had prior to him, I would not have stuck around, to be completely honest. I find this content very interesting… I’m certainly hoping that I can steer my young boys in the direction to be successful men who know how to navigate women.

I believe more guys are tired of all this redpillness going on on TH-cam rn, telling us how bad the women are and all this, but not many touch on those issues and subjects you guys did today. Things like when to hire, how, how to apply the same principles we have to apply with women to other people in our life. One more thing I really love is the many book recommendations you guys give, this way we get to go and read them and internalise the information in them to our own experiences who we can relate to. Thank you guys ❤️

24:00 I think a different issue is that a lot of men want to know how they can flip the script and be in the position where they’re choosing the women at the “finish line” competing for them. Which is why both Michael and Dan Bilzerian have focused on creating environments with an advantageous women:men ratio, and otherwise tilting the landscape in the man’s favor for a change.

9:45 women have Low Frustration Threshold full-stop, because being a woman is life on easy mode. Men have to cultivate the grit and determination to overcome troubles and succeed, while women just have to show up. As a corollary, women are also bored easily, like children. They don’t know how to be content by themselves, because they’re highly mimetic and need the hivemind to tell them what to think and how to feel. On their own they become highly neurotic and anxious.

Running a business is completely different from being the guy who does the job. You might have to do it for a while, sure, but the thing you are trying to accomplish is not being employee of the month but building a business and that does not really depend on the business you build. So you dont have to fall in love with collecting waste. What you love is building a great company that might collect waste better and more efficient than other companies.

I resent the idea that I need to be this feminine (seeking attention), metrosexual man posting my life on social media in order to be social proofed. This is a new age variable. Our fathers and grandfathers didn’t have to humiliate themselves, look desperate seeking attention by posting themselves doing things for others to see. How do you ask someone to take a picture of you without feeling like a total f**? That’s such a feminine action. It’s soo cringey. “Hey man, can you take this picture of me so I can post it for people I don’t care about?”

That’s how sophisticated the hypergamous instinct is.
Women knew F150 equals very likely successful man, even more than the flash.

Lol… I do agree to some point that younger women are attracted to older men but I would say most of the women I know have a definite cut off. I went on a date with a guy who was 28 when I was 18, and he terrified me because of the age gap and massive difference in life experience at that time. He had kids and had a prior marriage and I hadn’t even had sex yet… So I bailed quickly.
So, I don’t know if a teen or very early 20s will go for a 40+ guy. It depends on the girl and the guy. I’m 39 and wouldn’t go over 50. There is a definite generational disadvantage with age difference…it might not be weird to the guy b/c he’s got a hot young lady, but their interests and experience might really alienate each other. Let the 18-19 teenagers date closer to their age lol. It’s starts getting a little creepy when old men show interest in women that young. I remember getting approached by older men at my job at age 18, and it usually made my skin crawl a bit, even if they were handsome. If he’s old enough to be my dad, then we have no business together lol.

You guys give women way too much credit. Wait at the finish line? Your average woman could be in a room with a 100 millionaires and one LOSER and choose the LOSER. This is the reality. If women went for the successful men ,we would not be having these conversations. They are going for the F boy, not the business owners.
