I am kinda with him. I would have liked to see more of his book scenes too. I am really just hoping they can bring the energy of those scenes forward and maybe adapt some of it (though in different ways) when/if we hit RoW.

there's 3 shadow and bone books (alina's storyline, in season two they combined books 2 & 3)
2 six of crows books (following the crows, same characters of the show but a different plotline)
2 rule of wolves books (following nikolai and nina and more, without spoilers.)
