I am SO glad to have wandered here tonight. Perfect way to cap off Turkey day. Although we chose to fly in the face of convention and have chili and nachos and margaritas. The only traditional food we had was the apple pie I made w my youngest. And we didn’t go into a food coma in front of the game, we proudly cheered our beloved Cowboys to victory!!
I’ve told you before how much I love your writing. Many many times. I love seeing others love your stories. It gives me hope that there are still those who appreciate a well crafted, soft and sweet story.
It’s been a rollercoaster week hasn’t it? The concert, although I felt a kind of reaching out to us sort of vibe that was clingy, was awesome. I’m so proud of our young one. He truly has reached high. And he’s always been able, given opportunity to shine like the Golden star he is. I love him doing it his way. My heart is so full. The 4x Ms announcement was ice pick to the heart. Knew we’d get something soon. Didn’t want anyone left to go in alone. My Jikook supporting heart worries for them due to all the discourse - knowing the SK gov stance. Then they strut into the airport being them, and my heart swells again. Why should they pretend not to be close - skinship is normal in SK. They are long time coworkers, friends at very least…. God I love them.
Anyway… sorry to rant. We haven’t chatted in a bit. I’m still recovering. Almost healed. Using walker, trying to transition to cane. Hope all is well with you and yours. Sending love and purple hugs.

What a nice Thanksgiving surprise this story was for me. It was the perfect ending to my Thanksgiving day.! I can only imagine what Christmas in Chicago will be for Jimin and Jungkook. You seem to know a lot about how US families celebrate Thanksgiving day, i.e., stuffing all of the rich food, women cooking and baking and the men going to sleep in a food coma while watching all of the football games on TV.
