Just wanted to come back and say thank you! 24 Minutes later, knowing nothing about NDI, I downloaded the apps and was able to get this working. Thanks for solving a problem i was having for so long, as a single monitor streamer.
Great work really appreciated. Can you please go over installing the NDI plug-in and how to select it in ECAMM. A bit into details, I’m struggling to get it done for my church. Thanks in advance🙏🏽
Question... I installed the scan converter but my file dropdown sources only show 'windows server' but no browser, etc windows. Have you run into that before?
@Scott Howard: I believe this happens when you don't have the source window open before starting Scan Converter. Make sure you have opened your browser tab first, then open scan converter and see if that allows it to be seen as the NDI source.
@Scott Howard Can you record a screenshare showing me what you currently have? Or send a screenshot of your setting *s? You can use ***www.loom.com* to record the screenshare.
@@JamainFreeman I restarted it and then it asked me for permissions. I gave it permissions the first time but I guess it wanted more. I then restarted NDI and now the multiple sources are showing! Thanks for your responses!
Absolutely! It was for me as well. Positioning my shared screens was such a pain in the tail with only one monitor. I have a 34' ultrawide that I couldn't really take advantage of while on my streams where I had to share windows. Different world now...lol
@Fun Corporate Magic: You shouldn't have to install all the other programs. You can just install the scan converter and it will work properly. And I'm assuming that you opened the NDI Scan Converter program before trying to have eCamm see it?
Hi Paco! No, it's not. You can download the NDI Tools at www.ndi.tv and then just install the NDI Scan Converter and you will be good to go! Thanks for your support and kind words.
NDI does NOT allow any input, only a very select few inputs that have already been programmed into NDI. So, you cannot feed Keynote presentations, Safari, Zoom chat window, or many other things. So, for me at least, NDI is pretty useless.
Thanks for your reply...Russ that's actually not true...Did you watch the entire video? I literally pulled up a Powerpoint presentation using NDI. I also showed how the different inputs are available based on the programs or windows you have open at the time. You can show ANY program or browser window on your screen using NDI! Not sure where you got your information brother, but I've done it all using NDI! BTW, you can even pull in Ecamm Windows using NDI.
Great hack, i'm gonna try it! Thanks

Hey BBoye...sure will. I'll do a quick video on that and upload it.
Thanks! Great tutorial!

NDI Scanner? Is that native for ecamm? Awesome content, by the way!

@@JamainFreeman Thank you for sharing the address to NDI TV. Your video was lacking that info so probably should update with the info
