The set up of the questions is totally incorrect, when there appears only two options. I would have been surprised if Mark had signed for a second series.
Well, Mark's been doing the show in Australia for MANY years now. ALL quiz/trivia shows, all over the world, are rigged to allow the contestants to win now and then. Or else no-one would be interested in watching or going on the show.
The Beast does sometimes "Lose it". He was going well eight out of eight, must have thought he had it in the bag and then the wheels came off at 13 and the frustration got to him. He didn't listen to the questions properly - both of them were plural answers, but the Beast said "one" which was inviting being pushed back ! At 6:05 he looked really pissed off. He often panics under pressure and jumps in with a wrong answer to question he knew the answer to. A pause for a second or two and he would win many more chases:
@@peachyb1969 I will go out on a limb here and say that I doubt that was the point being made and just that the OP did not realise that UK chasers were also on the Aussie version, rather than Aussie chasers.

lots of people in the comments not understanding why he's mad. numerical questions are easier to pushback as the answer is a lot easier to guess, so the fact there was like 3 in a row was clear siding with the contestants. Mike was mad at the producers not the host, although he is annoying as fuck
NO! Mark almost always behaves like a spoilt brat when he loses. And salivates childishly when he beats mere amateur contestants, like he's beaten the best quizzers of all time. And ALL quiz/trivia shows, all over the world, are fixed to allow the contestants to win now and then. Otherwise no-one would watch it or wanna go on the show. Plus, Mark did himself no favours by letting his anger get the best of him, forcing himself to jump in too quickly, too often, and not listen to more of the question before blurting out what he THINKS is the answer. He's admitted that several times over the years, that he lets his frustrations get in the way and he needs to learn to slow down at those times. But he obviously hasn't learnt, because he's been doing it for years.
Labbett is transparent!! He 'stormed off set and punched the set' on a British edition and it made me cringe. His acting was as transparent as his stumbling over questions that give the contestants the prize!
Acting? No! Mark salivates and boast badly when he beats mere amateur contestants. Then carries on like a pork chop when he loses. His ego is the only thing bigger than him.

Australia: Bunnings, sausage sandwiches, meat pies
UK: Queen, Big Ben, tea
Australia and UK: Hating The Chase Australia's host
It’s Andrews bosses and producers who tell him to act it up for the show. For ratings
Oh bullsh*t!!!!
He's ALWAYS been OTT like that, even before he became a big name.
He's just a knob, full stop. No-one needs to tells him to act like one. 🤣
When Mark deadset started at the camera in disbelief at 5:44, I felt that.
I didn’t even know Australia had a version of the chase x
How did he lose to Will from the inbetweeners?
After countless videos Its my first to know something the Beast didnt know. That caught me by surprise
LEAVE ME ALONE AND LET ME HAVE MY TEA!-The Beast
First experience of Australian chase and there are already questions about kangaroos, tasmanian devils and alligators.
Just as the UK version asks questions that relate specifically to Britain.
And the US version asks questions that relate specifically to America. 🤷♀️
This aside Mark is from a great British city 😂😂
Main lesson: Never trust cartoons. Now, people think Pocahontas married John Smith.
Mark should step down and give that host a slap.
Haunter Mark should step down and give you a slap and your profile pictures stinks 😷
@@JustinChipmunkToyStoryAnimator
Like your profile picture is a shining example of brilliance. 🤣
@@peachyb1969 this aged!
@@JustinChipmunkToyStoryAnimator
Just like your comment aged 2 years after Haunter left their comment. 🤷♀️😂
I wonder if there is a bonus in it for the Chaser to win. Surely they're playing for an extra 5k or so behind the scenes so that they actually have something on the line to fight for.
4th time seeing him storm off. What's happening to him?!?
EDIT: That, like always, shocked me. However, it is typical for The Beast to storm off like that.
Its because his correct answers are being marked wrong, even though I said same answer and it was correct.
>his correct answers are being marked wrong
Which of his correct answers were marked wrong?
Tasmanian Devils are indeed black.
Mexico and Spain are an ocean part.
Snowball is a pig. The horses are Boxer and Clover
Lockheed Martin and McDonnell Douglas were competitors and not the same company. Douglas merged with Boeing in 1997
The Alligator question was difficult, but 1 and 2 are not the same answer
The Taj Mahal has 3 minarets. It is surrounded by 4 minarets.
Motorcycle was invented in 1894 = 19th century.
LKC9215 I'm pretty sure he is referring to the U.K. version.
What happened on the UK version?
LKC9215 On one of the questions he said "Eddie Eagles Edwards", which was at first accepted, but was later rejected. The correct answer is Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards.
On another question about the U.S.S. Arizona, he answered it is located in Pearl Harbor, which is correct, but the question asks for the U.S. state.
Amazed he seems to have never heard of Lockheed Martin?!?
Mogwai Gremlin Have you heard of Martin Schumann?
Mogwai Gremlin agree
I knew the answer to that and I have no idea who they are
As a British person I feel our man has been disrespected.
I feel he disrespected the winners, he spat the dummy because they beat him
How was he being disrespected? The people on this comment section are a bunch of miserable pricks
Oh bugger off!!!
Mark is just a sook, even on the UK version.
Always has been, always will be.
Disrespected? Jog on, kiddo. 🤣
The beast used to live in my hometown, he came to a quiz in a local pub once
The Beast does sometimes "Lose it". He was going well eight out of eight, must have thought he had it in the bag and then the wheels came off at 13 and the frustration got to him. He didn't listen to the questions properly - both of them were plural answers, but the Beast said "one" which was inviting being pushed back ! At 6:05 he looked really pissed off. He often panics under pressure and jumps in with a wrong answer to question he knew the answer to. A pause for a second or two and he would win many more chases:
Cooooorrrrrect
Sorry, but why does everyone expect a Bradley Walsh clone for The Chase Australia. I enjoy both versions. It's all about the format!
exactly as long as the rules are the same I don't pay much attention to the host
Simon Bird anyone??
The Bull yeah, that's what I thought.
Yes!
I didn’t know they had an Australian chase with our smart people!!!
I love the way you ended your comment.
Australia does have some smart people of their own, dear.
So don't act like Britain owns the monopoly on intelligent quizzers 🤣
@@peachyb1969 I will go out on a limb here and say that I doubt that was the point being made and just that the OP did not realise that UK chasers were also on the Aussie version, rather than Aussie chasers.
Mark Labbett just been a Beast as usual.
I think beast made the air a bit thick which definitely put a bad light on the host because when someone is sad or angry, someone who is overly energetic makes things worse.
The host is to slow .. its his fault
Theodora Bundy I thought he was faster than Bradley
Theodora Bundy your fault
Beasties manners don't befit the job. He did the same in the UK saying in the final chase (18 to catch) with 1 person that nobody has beat him in the final and it wasn't going to happen today. Well she beat him and he got very sore about it and walked off the set. It's great to see his true colours. He's a sore loser and just threw his toys out of the pram.
I wish there would be more questions about many tinnys Andrew knocked back that night I saw him out clubbing before he fell asleep in the gutter dribbling spit all over himself.
That doesn't surprise me.
Part of the reason why channel 7 booted him and got Andrew in to replace him.
As a foreigner, Australians make sure you won't win against them. Happens all the time. They're insecure lols
lots of people in the comments not understanding why he's mad. numerical questions are easier to pushback as the answer is a lot easier to guess, so the fact there was like 3 in a row was clear siding with the contestants.
