Shorts 9 Guardamar to Santa Pola

A short video of last week's day sail from Guardamar to Santa Pola on the Costa Blanca, Spain in my Tideway dinghy.

Guardemar is way out.
You can also start from the lower Mar Menor end across the marina.
There, you can launch your dinghy for free. Also a lot of parking space.
Sail towards Thomas Maestro Marina
and pass the channel under the bridge. From there a beautiful sail to the Island 🏝️ Tabarca.
There are also several islands in the Mar Menor with beautiful anchorage. The Mar Menor inlet is much more sheltered and not as much rolly compared to the ocean side.
Next week, I'll be there with my W17 as well.

Hi Marcel. Thanks for the info. I'm planning a trip to Mar Menor for later in the year and I was wondering where to launch from. That ramp looks perfect. Tabarca is also on the list as is the anchorage in Torrevieja. I'm still learning how the weather works here. The speed at which everything can change is something I'm not used to so I am being cautious at the moment.
It would be great to meet up although you sail a lot faster than me!
