- VE Commercial Vehicles has introduced 2 new premium intercity buses built on its long 12.4 meter and 13.5 meter chassis. It is available in two variants intercity coach and sleeper bus. This Eicher bus is available in 43 and 47 seater coach. Whereas the sleeper version offers 30 and 36 berths.

Most attractive buse by eicher company
Suspension quite harder side. 27oct I travel on this bus (seter) almost 300km. Seat is good and comfortable. I travel with Shyamoli paribahan. But bus is good.

Who says that outside bus body builders dont make world class interiors Infact they even make it better than the company at good rates when compared to conpany.i am myself a bus operator and i get my bus body built from udaipur ,jodhpur and indore.they are the best

Why don't you people design the rear engine for long distance. Always the Indian buses are front engine any particular reason ?
Cheap and old design is used for rear engine new development and local manufacturing don't want spend money only make profits
Still selling us Truck chasis under the guise of buses
The main reason for front engine is the direct airflow for keeping engine cool in summers. I have seen rear engine volvo, mercs catching fire 🔥 even with airvents flowing air underneath.
The rear engine bus is not suitable for indian roads as the maintenance and design cost is 5x more. Very few transport companies can afford to buy new Volvo n Scania buses. Everyone else is buying government retired and accidental buses from auctions.
Front engine buses can sustain more impact during head on collision and increase safety of driver and front passenger.
Pros: super exterior & interior design, better mileage. Cons: overpriced than other competitions. Cost around 75 to 80L. For sleeper version.

@@javagarratinam5233 rear engine is not suitable for indian environment. Volvo struggled in their early days with fires and overheating issues. Tata failed with their rear engine buses due to overheating and indian drivers lack of understanding of using alison automatic.
@@javagarratinam5233 Exactly people should see buses used in Europe the quality of the coach building and safety standards which is 10 years ahead of what we have just started with Volvo and Eicher. Isuzu, Irizar, Scania, Renault, MAN. They are almost using its rear engine buses since 40 years they are already retiring their ICE engines to making way for electric and fuel cell buses.

When are the Intercity buses with Bio-Toilets coming in India? Rest all is fine. Such toilets will help people with Incontinence and aged people. That is a standard in the West.
It may come when intercity private buses 🚍 have proper BusPort like state transport buses. As bus operator need proper infrastructure area to maintain their buses. Somebody should drag govt attention over it. In Gujarat most of major cities don’t allow Private Luxury buses in cities during daytime/working time. Luxury bus operator drop passenger outside of city or arrange nonAC mini bus to transfer passenger into city.

The drawback of sleeper buses is lack of toilet on long intercity journeys. You get very short breaks that are 7-8 hours apart and if you need to use the loo in between, tough luck. Makes it very stressful, especially for women and children, even if the bus is good.

They provide on back side in rear where seats are there seats are removed and one berth is constructed for them you will find in Volvo buses bt this is done when bus is delivered and depending upon configuration set by comp buying it
