One i would recommend that is only digital or DVD is Savageland,. I bought the DVD so I could own it. It is from 2015. A mockumentary style film that uses photography in the most creepy, effective way. Very underrated film. I really appreciated its unique take on the genre. P.s. I found Lake Mungo is available to stream on Amazon Prime. I checked it out and I thought it was quite good. Some creepy scenes, but mostly I felt sad at the end. Good recommendation, and if others are unsure, maybe they can stream it first. I picked up Haunted Asylum because I love all things paranormal investigation related. I enjoyed As Above, So Below just for the chance to view the catacombs under Paris. Weird reason, but it was a selling point for me. Thank you again for another informative video! :)

If I ever give found footage another shot, I promise it will be one you've mentioned here. I don't expect that to happen, though. I've seen a couple (not mentioned in your video) and really just didn't like anything about them. Not being a huge horror fan to begin with, I think maybe found footage films are a little too much of a reach for me. Thanks for taking the time to recommend what I'm sure are the best of the genre.

I'm not a huge fan of found footage movies, because they are usually boring. It's very rare that I enjoy one. I will highly suggest the new movie "Late Night With The Devil". This is the way to do the genre. I saw it in theaters and it's now on Shudder.

There’s a decent one called horror in the high desert which is half found footage and half interviews, the final act is so intense.
Also never heard of tunnel before so I’ll be checking that out😃

I'm not a huge fan of found footage movies, because they are usually boring. It's very rare that I enjoy one.
I will highly suggest the new movie "Late Night With The Devil". This is the way to do the genre. I saw it in theaters and it's now on Shudder.

There's only one from 2020. The other one by Bong Joon Ho is older. That's a creature feature and is good in it's own right.
There were 2 of them on imdb and both said 2020.

The one I'm referring to is only about an hour and ten minutes if that helps. It's definitely worth the watch. 😊

I ordered the first movie you talked about The Borderlands also the big 4k It Follows from Second sight. 👍😎 I'm taking notes on all these movies. Can't buy them all , but I'll go by how scared you were when watching. 😁 I forgot I also took your recommendation and bought/ ordered The Tunnel. 👍😎 I loved The houses October built. I seen it on streaming a few years ago, but I will look for it especially if it is at a reduced price. 😁
