Great review, thanks. How is the screen vibrancy? Do the colours pop enough or appear washed out? I checked out the Tab 80 a while back and the screen appeared a little dull and washed.
It's good, it's not AMOLED either, but you would know that. Considering the price point, I was happily surprised as it's not like some of those washed out ones as you mentioned, but it's also not a flagship vibrant panel.
I have Blackview Tab 18 12 inch tablet g99 chipset ,it's super laggy and lots of bugs, no OTA update in android, no security patches .... If your gonna game skip any Blackview Tab or Oukitel tab even Chuwi.. I have experience with it all 3 brands don't have update, buggy and super laggy
Not too much, I don't think it is to the point that I'd say it's stiffer than the original one, but it's definitely not softer. See the one reason why I'd lean on it being ever so slightly stiffer is not because there is any changes but rather, because it isn't a simple "circle" like the original, pushing it from a corner when unintended seems to prevent misclicks, if that makes sense. I don't think it's by design... but maybe a happy accident?
It's a fun "afterthought" kind of tablet. One if you don't mind "fiddling around with" to test things out or just to leave on a night table, that's where mine will be stationed in fact.
It’s been quite good. That portion that I play COD in my backyard, it is not uncommon that devices don’t connect that far out, but I was able to without issues with that tablet. I also played a good 30mins there, I just used 5 seconds of footage. 😂
@@eiceys4612 Always a pleasure. For the most part, I'd expect a positive experience because you are running on a "lower resolution" panel, which means less bandwidth, which while not guaranteed, it's easier to bandwidth to be stable if it's not being strained to its limits. I can't guarantee obviously because I don't know how radio interference is for you in the space you use these devices in but from where I stand, it's been a surprisingly pleasant experience, that's for sure.

I was gonna save for the legion y700 latest model should I pick this up instead only reason why I ask is because I own a iPhone 14 Plus which is a solid screen already and it’s 6.68 inches diagonally the tablet I mentioned is I believe 8 but from I hear it’s the same screen as a legion to handheld that I cannot afford 😅….would you save for that device tablet the legion one or would you just get tablet that cost 150 cause I was looking at the fire max 11 tablet but just don’t agree the price with all the bloat ware ….i do use a cheap tablet that you get for free from the government low income family …any suggestions
Well that very much depends on what your main use-case is. The Y700 is an extremely capable tablet so if your goal is primarily gaming, primarily FPS gaming I would add, then I would say that you are better off saving for the Y700. If you play clash of clans, brawl stars, these types of games, I think it's very suited for light gaming, social media, media consumption and browsing. It's very affordable, very reliable in my testings and that PC mode still remains something I am surprised is even there, and works this well!
Do you like your iPhone? Are you going to stick with iPhones for years to come? If so I'd recommend getting the nicest iPad you can afford and be happy. It's one thing to have a Galaxy phone and a Blackview tablet because under the skin they're both Android and they both use the Google Play Store and Play Services. But, having mobile devices on different ecosystems seems like it's more trouble than it's worth to me. Make your life easier and consolidate onto one mobile OS is my recommendation.
@@GameTechTalk I only use GeForce or PlayStation remote play app I love gacha games only reason cause I can enjoy them with my kids and gamble at the same time they got me into it honestly but that’s what I would use it for only gacha games like wuwa and zzz and up coming gacha we are all waiting for and stream GeForce and ps5 …so you advice the latest legion over 150 dollar tablet …I also have another small question lol small sorry but what is a good oled alternative in that size that isn’t a Samsung s7+ - s9 plus they all have oled but what is a budget option sorry for long questions again
@@mattdavis9601 I’m honestly really digging the whole idea of android because if it’s flexibility, the majority of time it gives you more options. Apple keeps you in their ecosystem for too much money and yes, get me wrong. The software is good but the price and their items too high for this age, consumer not everybody can afford phones that cost two to $300 honestly so androids ecosystem is what I’m heading to. I just have an iPhone but I have a PS5 and I use a cheap onn 4k streaming box for my GeForce now and pirated movies so you see my tech is spread out a little over here in a little bit over there. It’s not the best tech to get me wrong, but it gets me by it does what it supposed to do so I noticed android doesn’t keep me restricted from using all of my tech, I noticed iOS has a little bit more restriction unless you have a PC and jailbreak your devices, it’s hard to make a lot of devices compatible off the back with iOS phones or iPads
@@lorenzo9676 For GeForce and PS Remote play, you'd be good. For ZZZ and WuWa, I recommend saving for Y700. My truthful advice for you is to save. Just in the previous video, I mentioned a very wise advice I once heard: "Oftentimes, by paying less, we end up paying more.". To me it sounds like if you buy this tablet, as convenient as it may be now, you'll only be a few days/weeks away before wanting to have something more powerful for the more demanding games you seem to already play. With that in mind, as much as I think one should never "wait for the next device", I do feel like "saving for the better one" is a better solution for you long term. The one exception would be if you were to tell me: "Oh well that tablet will go to my kids when I buy the Y700", then that changes things completely and I think it's a fair purchase to ease yourself into tablet gaming until you buy the Y700. I hope this all makes sense. Cheers!

i have the BT18 and share the same observations. Any recommendation on a gaming tablet with this joint knowledge in mind?

I’ve looked at picking this up. I ordered a Tab5 Pro instead. This looks better for what I wanted I think

Nice, was looking for a tablet for anime, manga, and emulation.
Happy to assist, would indeed be a great solution for that, one that doesn't break the bank either!
How is the Wi-Fi range? Because I had the iplay mini 50 and it was very bad
