Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I like the air strike gimmick. I’m not very good at it, but at least it’s something different that adds a layer to the strategy. I’m cautiously optimistic about the new line.
Agreed, it forces players to choose between camping a spot behind an island and taking a pasting, or actually moving. Once they've learned to move they may even learn how to play aggressively, and win 😂
I am really worried that they over nerfed a lot of the cv's especially the UK cv's 4.5 minute restoration is nuts, Parsaval got nerfed to the ground and with Enterprise coming even less of a reason to play Parsaval, Shoukaku has had everything except her secondaries and hull characteristics nerfed to the ground. They need to increase the alpha on all of these three cv's and revert the Implacable nerf especially with the new hybrid bb commander coming with his 16% dmg reduction taken from planes as an inspiration that is an insane value.
Good, CVs don’t belong in a game like world of warships. If you enjoy randomly getting bombed for 10k go play on the pc version. The majority of the playerbase plays surface ships anyway, so don’t you worry if cvs get nerfed. No one gives a fuck

Yeah we’re about to have a crazy 4th of July update they’re shafting carriers again but it’s whatever battlecarriers will be fun to try Enterprise.....it’s Enterprise....enough said
They need to unerf the French tier 8 and Legendary Destroyers. 6 kl torps isn't how the ship is supposed to be. And it's a disservice to the French men and women who died fighting.

But the control of the planes was the best thing they took if they keep it it would give these hybrid ships back spotting again after the spotting plane nerf. The CV nerf is way to much this is getting back to what it was before were CVs at high tiers are going to be money pit. The UK is now a worthless line with an over 4 min restoration time. At the rate just remove the line, if they are going to nerf them back to the old status again. This update was fine for CV a good res time but not to op. Now yes it sucks being focused by a CV but it sucks being focused bt a DPM CL, or stocked bt a Ninja DD whoes trops do far more damage, or being yeeted by a BB across the map you never saw. Do we say nerf them no. But the CCs who most are BB mains are the reason why this is taing place they hate CVs and anything to get them out is fine. Thry push the OP idea when I see most CVs at the bottom of leader boards after matches for an OP ship its not taking top, say its easy to play why then do they get low borad placement. Everything in this update is sucks, making CV more worthless, the hybrids now are just BBs with airstrikes, why play them, seconadies are getting a nerf so not most are even worse. A lot of this seems to be a DD shadow buff because they are not op I mean how many say Dds decided matches,
I heard from the devs at some point we will get DDs with atmospheric bombs and 406s with sap and with 15km sonar. It's been 4 years so it's time to go GTA with this game full on!!!
Now, 3 Big Take-aways from the patch notes in my personal opinion. First, Enterprise. She'll be a ton of fun for Carrier players, and while I'm a German BB main and hate carriers with a FIERY PASSION, I can take going down to the most decorated ship of the good ol USA. Makes sense, glad she's here. Second, THANK GOD we are getting some good High tier seasons of ranked. I wouldn't mind WG Experimenting with a Ranked Season of Legendary, but that could just be SHIMA-FEST. Maybe 1v1 Brawls at Legendary could be better. Anything that gives steel, is a W. Third and last, THANK THE LORD we are getting Tirpitz Buffs!! Contrary to popular belief, Tirpitz was being Out-Accuracy'd by Bismarck, as she hadn't received every single accuracy and shell grouping buff that her Sister Ship and Class Namesake recieved. Tirpitz will be a DEADLY Tier 7 contender now, and more of a serious threat in the tier. I think this version of Tirpitz now also can fit into what I called back in the day "The Big 3" of Tier VII. The Big 3 were the top 3 Battleships of Tier 7 that could punch up into Legendary Tier and properly take on Legendary ships before Tier 8 was introduced. The Big 3 were made up of Iowa, Vanguard, and Bismarck. I think Tirpitz can now get added to this list, which I'm super happy about!! Here's to hoping Amagi is next on the buffing block!! Haven't watched yet but I'm assuming, arcade mode is going to become the main mode for last gen consoles. Current and newgen consoles are possibly going to get an overhauled WOWSL which may open the doors for subs ://
They overnerfed the CVs 50-100 second increase in restoration time is too much just make them do less damage while keeping the fun of the speed and constant planes, sitting and waiting is boring
"be Prepared" - For what? you and every other streamer to complain about CV's - Its people like you that ruin the game. Just because you dont like playing CV's you and others decide to bash players who do and then lobby to the developers to nerf the ever living hell out of them... so now that your happy, all of us who wanted to play CV's will leave. You got your way. Enjoy the playerbase thats left.
