Although I like the new LAMTA cars, up the COAST in San Francisco, BART just overall looks much better...maybe it's because they aren't in that Yellow Color! And, these are more in a "BOXIER" appearance. Hopefully, they'll hold up as long as the earlier fleet of Subway Cars!
These are a huge improvement, but while this train would've looked good in 2014... it is 2024. This is not a truly modern metro train. These will look super outdated once again and need replacement earlier than other trains of its age used worldwide. If you don't understand what I mean, just compare these trains to the new trains from Sydney Metro, or even the R211s from NYC Subway or 8000 Series on the DC Metro. These look about a decade older than those. At least they have partially open gangways though.
Not a fan, but it's going to grow on me. The old horn will always be nostalgic
Really wish they program in the old horn, would be a nice tribute
1:42 sounded like nippon sharyo p865
IT DID I'M GLAD SOMEONE ELSE NOTICED
Fr I remember
luckily the Chinesium will be replaced with Korean metal soon enough
Love the Bredas especially the older ones
There only on the D line to Wilshire/Western Station-Union Station soon in the 2028 Olympics they will have the Hyundai Rotem HR500’s
*They're**
@@EMD_F59PHIThanks for my correction
HR5000?!?*
So how many cars are there in service right now?
4 only
@metrorailinlosangelesprodu4407 Cool! I will be getting on these hopefully next year.
Excellent video. Too bad, LA Metro subway cars. Don't allow a walkthrough from the lead car, to the trailing car from the inside ಠಗಠ.
Thank You!
You are very welcome!
So they’re partially walk through with two car married pairs??
Yes that’s correct
The traction inverter manufacturer of this vehicle is CRRC Times Electric.
I didn't know that the older subway trains had the famous hoot air whistle like the Pacfic Electric Railway long distance trolleys? 😊
That horn was added to remind of the Pacific Electric Red Cars
@@metrorailinlosangelesprodu4407are there plans to record and port over the original PE horn to the new cars?
R they on the purple and red lines they should be a six car
Metro only runs 6 cars on the Red Line for special events or occasions.
How are these delivered? I’d like to see a video
Coming soon!
B line will have HR5000 in 2027
Why do some trains have light grey gangways and others have black gangways? Quality control, eh? Or a test to see which gets dirtier?
all of them have gray gangways
Let me get back on that
The braking propulsion sounds slightly similar to the one of an R211
2:06 those igbt traction motor phase shift sounds weird as hell
CRRC use weird modulations...
It would be cool if they had the same sound as the breda a650
Yeah I was thinking the same thing
Was this footage from today? Or Friday?
Friday
Friday . They have completely disappeared from service since then.

The Rotem Hyundai HR5000 will be in service by 2028.

You are also being gangstalked and there's bugs in your hair!
0:43 I know where all the bums will be hanging out! 😂
Made in China 🇨🇳
