I was looking for a description of how (or if) one can query the camera from a remote location, which probably means a discussion of how the sync module interfaces with an existing wifi system. Also, why put up with a subscription plan if you say there is an alternative?
For a review of a camera, an obvious omission is showing what the camera produces. That would be more helpful than watching someone talk about the camera.
He says that objects over 10 feet away at night lose definition. Is that what others have found to be true? I'd like to know if I'm looking at a raccoon, possum or a skunk that may be further than 10 feet from my camera.
I own 8 outdoor blink cameras and run energizer max. I got them in 2021 still working good. I reset them all from time to time. Helps them function better. My house is all eyes now. 8* cameras
Only Activates when it detects. Keep it on Armed. Other than that only when it detects motion. I set my cameras at sensitive 6. I run energizer max no problems.
How do you mount these I wish you would have put that in your review on how to mount these outside most cameras come with a magnetic mounting bracket or a mounting bracket that you can screw on with a swivel head.
Don’t waste your money on this Blink garbage system! I’ve had it for about two years and have on and off issues with it and calling in Blink’s technicians is a joke can’t understand most of them and it sounds like they’re reading out of a book trying to figure it out as well!
I have had the same issues, I have good wifi signal and these cameras are not dependable at all, I have done everything customer service recommended and they still are completely unreliable
The speaker system on these is garbage. If you try to talk through your phone so the person on camera can hear you, they won’t hear you. You literally have to stand ear up to it to hear it. So that feature is basically non existent
I liked this video, it gave a lot of information in a quite short amount of time, it contained all the necessary info and even a comparison with another model. Keep up the great work
I had these four for a year. Great. Then I bought four more added them and suddenly this company turns off my recording and says I have to pay them a monthly fee. Wtf.

Blink Cameras and System are GARBAGE. I just had a bunch of tools stolen directly in front of an activated camera with full battery. Do NOT buy Blink Cameras, you will regret it.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY the sync module is garbage I had them a month and the sync module will not connect to wifi keeps telling me my Wi-Fi password is wrong when it's not look it up it's a known thing with listening to these ppl that get paid by blink or sent specific ones for free to leave good reviews you can get cameras on eBay for$30 that destroy these blink cameras

Can i access the recordings and save them from the ios mobile app even if the are on the storage synch module?
if you have a sync module no subscription required you can record to your usb drive and access over the application
I have 3 of these with the sync module. They're OK a bit glitchy, field of view is so so don't waste your money on the subscription.

0:50 you can’t use rechargeable batteries in them.
Some cameras should have a olive drab desert tan or real tree camouflage scheme to blend in if you wanted to mount in a tree

If that red light is flashing all the time the camera isn't of much value. I could just buy a red flashing light if thats supposed to be a deterrent.

They come with a swivel mount. I just installed one yesterday
Small swivel mount base, two screws. Then you snap the camera on it. Simple

You can monitor but not 24/7, only for about 5min then it shuts down "to safe battery".

It doesn't have night vision. I was disappointed to find this out when i set mine up
It has. The night vision of a camera is usually set as auto in default.
Go elsewhere if you want good night time sharp video. Day time is just ok. But most wired cameras are way better.
I asked on Amazon if the purchase comes with the control module and the seller won’t answer. To me this is a negative indicator. I will not purchase
