If I has a lawless President and/or DOJ harassing me, I'd accept a pardon simply to take the wind out of their sails. I don't subscribe to this notion that the acceptance of a pardon amounts to any sort of admission.

Do we really want to abuse this precious power and start handing out pardons like candy on Halloween night? Is that really what the pardon was designed for? Biden will certainly issue many on his way out. He has nothing to lose. The irony, of course, is that the very Dems--including RINO Liz Cheney--who were complicit in replacing him with Kamala, are now banging on his door begging to be preemptively pardoned. If I were he, I'd just pardon family and friends and leave the likes of Pelosi, Obama, Cheney, Schumer, Harris, etc. to fend for themselves. This would be a genius way to stick it to those who threw him under the bus.
