  • If you want to learn how to take notes and become a deep thinker and author, then check out my new book Atomic Note-Taking. You'll learn how to make effective notes from the books you read, organise them in such a way that you can have your own original insights and create your own published work from it.

Which self published printer offers the best full color printing for the price? In this video I test a range of prints from Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), Lulu and IngramSpark.

Thank you! I’m trying to figure out a children’s picture book and am now leaning towards Lulu. The color was spectacular!

Thanks! I'm using Ingramspark and this has helped me decide to go with the ultra premium color.

Hello! Thanks for the video it's very informative. Only thing I would say is that on Amazon, after you publish the book your CAN order author copies to sell yourself and you only pay the printing costs. Also, if you buy your own barcode from Nielson or Bowker, and upload it, you can sell on any other platform. It's only if you ask Amazon to provide a barcode for you, you are tied to them.

Thank you. I decided not to publish via Amazon for the time being because it’s not possible to offer the video course upgrade through their platform.
Also, their fees are pretty high in that of the 70% or so they you keep, you pay the full print cost. So the fees are calculated on the sale price, not the profit.
If it was a black and white book, I’d probably consider it.
