When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself, first as a dark demon. As a demon, it uses its power to rain death upon the land, and then it dies. However, after a period of slumber, Razgriz returns, this time as a great hero.
The black jets with red trim is probably one of the best looking fictional color schemes out there. Looks good on pretty much every aircraft from the game.
The fighter wing at Nellis Air Force base adopted this look for its F-16 aggressors, dubbed the 'wraith' colour scheme. It was chosen after a Facebook vote so perhaps a lot of Ace Combat fans out there wanted to see some Razgriz action in the air.
"I've lost time and time again... but now I've finally won. Look! We launched them off safely. There's my victory. As long as they're in the air, I haven't lost. And I know they'll succeed." o7

It's 2024 and Ace Combat 5 is turning 20 Years old this year. I can't believe it's been so long already. If any of you Ace Combat 5 players from back then are still around to enjoy this music and the memories today, I send my best salute. We were all very lucky to have lived and enjoyed such an amazing game when we did.
No one would ever believe that the legend would return. But there they came, breaking out from the clouds and descending from the luscious blue skies. The legend that had long since vanished appearing out from the blue. The legend of Razgriz…
Me, driving out to the terminal: *sigh "Yesterday was long and hectic. I'm still tired from that, and I have four planes to work on today." *sees new music posted by Lucas and gives it a listen. "FOUR PLANES?! THEY COULDN'T DEFEAT ME, EVEN WITH AN ENTIRE SQUADRON!!!"
This game maneged to make us feel proud and patriotic.. to a country that doesn't even exist. This is why Ace Combat is so good, because it's not your usual "hEhE uSa #1 brr" story
Something to keep in mind, Blaze and Razgriz Squadron were canonically flying F-14's in the final battle, which were already considered obsolete by 2004 (when AC5 was released) and finally retired completely by 2006. The Grey Men were flying F-15 ACTIVEs and S-32's, both of which were only prototype models (the S-32 never actually made it off paper) but were considered high-performing aircraft by the in-game stats. By all accounts, it should have been an easy battle against some aging F-14's. Razgriz wiped the skies clean of the Grey Men forever. In a universe where the top aces generally fly something like the F-15 or the F-22, Blaze flew into history in an F-14. Let there be no doubt that he's an "Ace of Aces".
Hearing this actually put a tear in my eye. The nestolgia that this brought me was incredible. It makes me wonder how you would work with megalith (Rex Tremendae/Agnus Dei)
They are flying north to meet the enemy. And those who continue to hide behind their hateful weapons, step forward into the light of peace and harmony!
...From the Crimson Phoenix astride an F-14 to the Shattered Skies, those were my introductions to this beautiful series... The Unsung War was when I truly became hooked, and the Skies Unknown brought me tears of joy. Here's to Project ACES, and many, many more years of the greatest Simulator Game Series of all time... The Childhood Airplane Enthusiast Simulator series, where the physics were an afterthought, and we smashed our toys together, making gun and explosion sounds... For that is what Ace Combat is. It is no hyper-realistic depiction of actual aircraft... Its a hyper-realistic depiction of our imaginations when we were young. When we were foolish, and had our eyes turned skyward... To that deep, dark blue... When we dreamed of being that ace pilot, the hero of the story... When we dreamed of the things only Mobius 1, Blaze, Garm 1 could manage... That is the essence of Ace Combat. The greatest Simulator of our childhood dreams we could ever hope for...

When a satellite falls and you hear the skies singing latin. 5 black F14 Super tomcat flying with a V formation. Curious who is the 5th pilot? It's the spirit of a fallen Razgriz Chopper watching over his Squadron.
Ok - one of big three of Ace Combat Themes is now remixed. Now only thing to do for you is to remix rest - Daredevil from 7 and magnum opus of the series - the one, the immortal, the masterpiece - THE ZERO. Thank you from Poland for all you great music. P.s. Somewhere in that sky flies a fifth. He flies beyond the horizon, guiding Razgriz into battle for the last time. No longer will petty war stand between them. For they are demons of death, and their purpose is to save us from our sins.
this has a more energetic, yet measured feel to it, it feels like a well earned victory track, with a slight hint of melancholy, because of course it's gotta hit in the feels haha
Perfectly fitting of the franchise. The triumphant aces face overwhelming and impossible odds time and time again and look back on the horrors and tragedies of war with dismay. But the victory had to be won.

Whatever you choose to do keep up the phenominal work!
Im so lucky to experience this as a young adult. I would never truly understand as a kid. Everyone talks about nostalgia and memories. For me, nah, the sheer brilliance alone is more than enough to bring some tiers. As a guy who saw the prime of single player story driven games, this game is Top 5. Yes Im comparing it to greatest story games. It doesnt have the gameplay but story alone... Nothing else comes close
This is so great. Although my favorite version of this from you is in the Strangereal World War Medley. Dont know why but that one is incredible. Anyway this is beautiful. Keep making more AC music masterpieces!
My first and favorite ace combat game, I remember playing it back in 2013 when I was eight when my cousin gave me their ps3 with the AC5 disk and when I got to the final mission I actually cried when Unsung War played
Sir, this is without a doubt the best thing my ears have ever experienced. You have given me a joy I have never felt through music alone, you are like a god amongst gods amongst gods.
This might get some flak but the Tomcat dunks on the Hornet in terms of aesthetic and service record. Even though its variable-sweep wing design is obsolete and expensive to maintain, it made the Tomcat more iconic.
If EVER piloting a plane when nobody would do it meant protecting something or someone I'd rather do it. People say I fear life more than death and they might be right. But maybe that's why I was born...
