Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
After catching 733 in Hillsboro, I continued on west to this crossing just east of Leighton, as I hadn't filmed it in a few years. Here, I found 733 was meeting a 734 at CP Forest, so I quickly set-up once 733 cleared and waited. Soon after, NS 734 departed from the siding here at Forest and rolled through with a pair of BNSF SD70ACes pulling on the head-end and a BNSF ES44AC and a BNSF SD70ACe working as the trains DPUs.
Since I last recorded this crossing back at the end of 2016, quite literally nothing major appears to have changed to the signals here. At some point, NS did replace both of the original diagonally-striped gate arms here with the current vertically-striped ones, but that's about it as far as changes here go. Not even the new passing siding next to this crossing caused it to get any other upgrades!
