Even as someone who isn’t very good at LoL, I can tell that this has not been a good winter split of the LEC.
LEC has been dogshit for a while... And it's sad because I want all regions to be competitive so we have a real competitive Worlds where all regions fired up.
They really need to make the seedings fair at Worlds, so these dogshit regions like LEC and LCS need to get more competitive, or get out. The swiss stage format was disastrous, and gave multiple chances to dogshit teams.

Because offseason is a shitshow where every team fears to be the last one to lock in, so they just lock players as soon as they can, just looking at their theorical value.
But that's not how you make a good team. You need to create a balanced and coherent roster of players wanting to play together & with a vision on how you want to play the game.
For now most teams (except G2 which can just pick players because any player would pick G2 over any other team) just get their roster, and then ask themselves "ok, what to cook with this now". Bruh. You got an agressive jungler which need to be in the center of you gamestyle, but then when you look around other players are more alike to have a playstyle where you wont get lane prio. Well, fucked, you year is over, see you next offseason mate.

7th vs 8th was never good in LEC. LEC had max 3 good teams at the peak
They're also guilty of glorifying washed players and stat hunters, and roster moves never make any sense, it's like a washing machine of players that end in completely random teams

to be fair, the level of play is bad against LCK 1-5 (GEN, T1, KT, DK, HLE), everyone else in LCK looks disgusting, the same goes for LPL. And even lpl top 3-6 doesnt look that great

This looks like a soloq game: the winning team with low siege power keep grouping trying to siege a tower instead of rotating/splittpushing and the game get dragged on forever.

This is not good to watch. After 2 or so years of watching lpl and lck with Dom, LS and Caedrel, watching LEC and NA feels sad:)) When you watch even the middle of the pack teams from lpl and lck you often get chills :"how tf could they play that fight so well. Damn that dive was so clean. The execution on that baron turn was so good. OH SHIT not the enemy countered doing something smart!!" It feels like watching people that are truly at the peak of the game. Here even if I know they are much better than me, I just can't shake the feeling of poor gameplay because it is persistent. They are making blunders too often:))

Half of their gold lead was also on toplane which is irrelevant because gnar is a bad champion and k'sante can be 0/25 and still do his job. Thank god for them TH ended up inting, because with both teamcomps being what they were, TH could have held them for hours. Easily.
