    Funnily enough Summoner is the last class I played as I couldn’t get around my minions not activating. Good guide!

      I always had a lotta trouble accessing the fighter classes instead cause their block mechanic is hard for me to use somehow.

    Just unlocked the Summoner. After one run I think it's more viable and fun than the Wyrdhunter. Thanks for the guide! Will definitely help

    Barrier on the Golem is the play. Once you get some of the Sigils you can just turn him into an absolute wall.

      Needs some replacement after a while though cause it's armor keeps lowering over time.

      Also, I’m not a 100% sure but I think Golem doesn’t retaliate if it just hits barrier. I think golem has to lose hp to retaliate. But, I agree that situationally a barrier on golem is good for sure. 👍🙂🥦🦖

    Coming from wyrd hunter as main , am im so used to burst round 1 clears, I decided to go abom first as primary and focus on pushing dps and it worked out really well. I had to remove 4-6 cards to make it easier to get golem out pretty soon, but often I was able to kill groups in 1-2 rounds with just abom out. The passive from the fight master is good as well with this strategy. Im hoping they will eventually bring all the classes up to par with wyrd hunter.

      its based on Kickstarter board game tainted grail fall of avalon ;-) its main product this was just a bonus that turned out to be more

    yes there is advance promotion also 10 shield for minion every turn, far as passive start with 20 shield stack that 20 shield when ever you see that passive

    Guys I always have problem when it comes to slay the 3rd beast.. In every run no matter who I play I end up with no potions, none available for purchase, none rest options left and low hp.. I don't get tgis game.. how to keep hp high to be able to play this game. No altars if healing, all mothers restore a tiny bit of hp. Any tips? :/

      As a Summoner you want to utilize the Golem/Barrier combo as much as possible. But also keep in mind that the third chapter features some really brutal fights which outright kill you if you are unlucky.
      It helps a ton to upgrade the Lost Souls potions and your base stats at the Seamstress' hut - these things will help you in your overall sustain. Also keep in mind that you will always unlock new tricks and methods of dealing with things. As long as you get killed in the "third chapter" you are actually doing quite good and just need to grind out more improvements - it's a rogue-lite for a reason.

      I think alot of people underestimate how Important defense is in games Like this, where you carry your health over from fights. I often prolong fights for several turns Just to save a few hitpoints. I also find that I very rarely use the Golem and instead try to get the passives for barrier and the stunning sigil on wyrm or abomination.

    Lol you should have ended recording that fight showing the true weakness of summoner class, he doesn't have a heal through Minions like they other 2 does so far i'm at difficulty 5 and it just feels cheap to fight enemies that hit 90-110 or 40 aoe and then you r pretty much done, so at least in my experience summoner is a no go at higher lvl encounters.       Actually I never viewed the lack of heals on the summoner as an issue. He has such good ways of walling himself up and other summoners get oneshot by hits like these too. But that's me personally, I agree with your point here - I somehow managed to overlook it entirely :D

      Not sure how you guys "think" the summoner class can't heal & Barriers??
      He got several ways to do so:
      *Barriers*
      - get the passive 2x 20 Barrier at 1st round. Barrier not touched stay 4 ever = saves 1st-2nd round energy to spend if not 4 ever since you can from start on focus "shielding" Goloms *EHP* (Effective Health Points).
      +
      • Arcane Shield: generates x Summend units 10 Barrier (4 summons = 40 Barrier on lets say Golem)
      • Refresh: card activates 1 unit and heals 50% maxHP.
      • Flood: card heals 100% a unit and adds 25 Barrier...
      Several other options in similar form to activate a unit and transform hp 50%/100% or x X amount of unit gain X% healing to the caster.
      • Energy...: card(1) Secrafice 1 unit and gain 50% of its maxHP to your caster T-.-T
      • Legandary: card of Allmother, generates 100 Barrier at target
      • Bloodrush: card (2) activates all units
      ~> and another card lets *all* units activate *TWICE* in 1 atack...i think costs 3 with no reduction..
      _or_
      ~> lvl up *all* creatures and activate *all*
      *BTW:*
      Wether the card-name says at Stealing-Curse?! "reducing max.HP *of all* enemies -25%, would NOT DEAL DMG,... *IT IS*
      You take away 1/4 of total EHP of every enemy which in returns means: "You need 1/4 total dmg less to end the fight"
      Basicly, playing this card, deals 1/4 totalDmg before "active" dealing dmg. Same as armor reduction DEALS DMG to units EHP,
      look for excample:
      Unit: 1000hp 50 armor
      EHP: 1000÷(1-(50÷(50+100))= *1.500 EHP* target would need 1500dmg to insta kill this unit.
      _Reducing Armor_ by lets say 15%_ = 43 Armor left = *1.430 EHP*
      after reducing armor we need *70 dmg less* to insta kill this target.
      _Excample EHP formular_
      So
      Yes taking *25% maxHP down from lets say 500 to *375* needs then 125 less dmg to insta kill the target.
      About a round saved or more. The higher the maxHP reduction the more worth this card is in saving *TIME* to generate *-TIME*
      Hp/EHP represents TIME
      Damage represents -TIME
      _of a unit, in games._

      ...several other options not mentioned...
      *Sigels:* (are for me) the most imp. cards in deck, related to duration of fight. The longer the fight keeps on, the more increases the worth of those. Since *THEY SCALE UP INVINITY* with the units level up! For 0 further costs.
      Adding a *perma* buff (status effect), which is way to powerful tbh for only 0-2 energy costs *once* !
      • *Mystic Blood:* card (1)! to begin of *each round* your unit heals 50% _of its lost (better said missing maxHP) maxHP
      *FFS* This is godlike on golem lmao
      At lvl 30-40 this means arround 300 healing!
      +
      • Over...: card (2) activates your unit to begin of every round
      -> On Golem means, he heals, for ever free, every round passivly and over action... 2x heals for ever...
      • PoisenBlood: card (0)!!!!!!! every hit of the unit reduces armor of the enemies!! perma!!! over x units lvl!!
      AoE dmg _@#'B00m'#^@_ Every target -XX(X) Armor lmao
      • Ego...: card (2) lvl up unit with every start of new round??!!! Saves for ever energy and does not need cards at all if not in stable!

      Summoner well played can outdmg and last waaay longer duration runs as any other one bc of *SCALING* over dmg and total EHP.
      Summoners goes up perma
      Others falls flat the longer it goes. Reason is not able to keep DD and MT (MainTank) at high lvl range and beyond any possibilities to reach 2000% dmg and over 1k hp on Golem...
      Other Summoners *scale faster to their MAX* yes but have *no path to further scale up* but Summoner can, invinity. He scales from start on slower but at a certain point of curve straight outpowers simple everything. Esp. having 50%hp regen and auto action at every round running on a unit (golem) at this point Summoner scales away able to use energy just for Barriers/Stuns & Lvl ups/Heals
      2 _"Switchpoints" only to care on for the rest of the battle lmao.
      Nah guys, my game runs in german which is why i can not tell ya straight names of all cards in engl. etc but
      *FFS* summoner can heal and barrier from midgame on like no one else. Siriously.

      • Card Blending Thunder sacrefices 1x unit and stuns all enemies...
      Oh and your *Alp* summon regens your ultimate charges on activation *× His lvl* this means a Alp lvl 9, will full charge an ultimate carge after 1 activation.
      THIS used on Golem, adds not only 3 more lvls, BUT *3×33 Hp* = +99 BaseHp added which insreases his maxHP as well and for that *HEALS* 99 points at Golem and on others used on too just in another "lower" rate.
      So ya...you just need to fking play him and he fk skyrocks so hard.
      Golem lvl 82 i think will on activation heal for 103.
      + 50% missing hp regen Sigel
      ~> up to 300healing
      So there goes 200 +300 = 500 healing together with 1 energy used in this round effectiv.
      +5 Hp healing to your caster, if you have the Alps passive to heal at every activation 5hp on the caster...ya 😎
      on Top:
      if you have the passives
      • Haste (activating spawning a unit)
      • Vision (on 1st activition in round of each Alp in this round, gain 1 cards with -1 energy consum)
      • Guarding Spell??! (get 20 barrier on you or on 1 of your unit RNG)
      • Healing Touch ( heal 5 hp at your caster on activation)
      yaaa
      Summoner builds up on his Passives and scales up invinity riding those turn by turn ;)

      You simple can not fail.
      You could do 2x Golems but imo 1x Golem 1x Mage (focused 1st to lvl up to 9) and 2x DDs is most effective.

      @@damirush7957 Because people have different learning types. You sound like somebody who learns really good by reading stuff. Some people learn badly by reading and way better by hearing and watching stuff. That's why I do what I do.
