- Kiptopeke State Park on the Eastern Shore of VA. It's a very kept clean Park with alot of Beach. They also have concrete ships they use as barriers. Super cool.......so much to do here. Bike paths....bird watching or just fishing.

Hey John 🙋🏽♀️ Looks like a beautiful park! I live in Maryland. This is about a 4 hour drive from my house. Not too bad! I made a note of it to visit sometime soon. Thank you & give Lil Man a squeeze for me😊🥰
Yeap.....it is a nice Park. I've enjoyed it.!!👍 Check it out.......
@@myscamptraveltraileradvent1230 Will do👍🏽😊

We were just at that park last summer, saw those cement ships in real time. Lots of shells on the beach. That bridge is creepy; driving under water isn’t my thing!! Thanks for sharing your sites with us.
Haha....the tunnel. Pretty cool...I love it.
You Sir are Camp Host with the Most! Love these reviews& stunning views! Thankyou!

Great review of a really nice park. I missed seeing Little Man.
He is good to go. Sleeping in the Scamp when I'm running around videoing
Hey! I will be there camping May 2-9! We will across the bridge in VB. But we come there all year long. About an 8 minute drive to Cape Charles. See ya around the campground! 🙋🏾♀️
Next year maybe.....I'll be leaving here April 26th.....headed to James River State Park......"Next Year!!!👍
Always the refreshing John !!!! ❤️❤️ Felt Littleman missing here on this video.
To much to keep up with sometimes....😂
@@myscamptraveltraileradvent1230 try my "little man " (see my pic) and two 30 lb beasts.....you adapt. (then again, when i had a husky, "little man" and a fawn Chihuahua, it was fairly easy.)
I met John at this camp site super nice guy. We were the ones out in those kayaks, those boats were filled with pelicans and the smell was insane. It was a pretty good campground with lots of things to do. The park service had some activities for the kids it’s family oriented for sure.
Thanks.....I try to be!!!😜
he's a real guy. my kind of people!
Thanks for the great review.
I’ve been across that bridge before. It’s kind of scary.
Looks like a cool campground.
Happy Camping
Don't care much for the bridge. Thanks!!👍
Awesome
Thanks....
I love tent camping! This is very similar to our campgrounds on the Great Lakes, just beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
Yeap...thanks👍!
John, while you there be sure to check out the little museum on the way into Cape Charles city. The have a working model of a steam locomotive at 1/8th scale. The also have some rolling stock out back. Hope it's open . Also they are building another tunnel soon. They used to have a ferry for rail cars to go over to Norfolk. You are only about 100 miles from me in Lewes, DE now.
Cool.....I still have another Park after I leave here. But thanks enjoy the day...... Nice outside!!👍
@@myscamptraveltraileradvent1230 We are looking at some high winds and a cold front coming through this afternoon. My neighbors daughter and husband were at Cheriton campgrounds about 3 years ago when a tornado came in off the bay and toppled a few trailers. Most of the campers that were not damaged stayed to help the owners clean up. Be careful this afternoon.
Good time to b there .Close to stores, no mosquitos this time of year. Lovely. I camper there and enjoyed it 100% It's still chilly a couple days this time of year but overall this week will be delightful
Yeap.....👍!
Those concrete ships are called ferro-cement. Steel reinforced concrete. If the displacement is proper they float just like steel. What is your job there John? Good video.
Camp Host for campgrounds...A....B....C..... the RV campground.
1:50 - HEY! "concrete ships....very familiar......
In West Cape May, NJ, at the furthest beach in NJ, between the Del. Bay and the Atlantic ocean, there is a rocky beach......it's called "Sunset Beach".....and in the water is the USS Atlantus, a concrete ship, half submerged. Good fishing there, but don't go out to it...hammerhead sharks.
For reference:
www.concreteships.org/ships/ww1/atlantus/
Pretty cool...huh.!! I think at one time there was a fleet of these ship.
@@myscamptraveltraileradvent1230 eight, i thought. Fun fact: at Rutgers University, the Civil Eningering students are graded on making a concrete canoe...they put it on the Raritan, and get graded on how well it is "water-worthy" i used to haul off the limewater from the concrete as a "hazmat tech"
Today, i woder. "will someone call the concrete racist? scream "microagression? get a "C" grade for whining? our future infrastructure is DOOMED!
☺
Enjoy bro. and keep making these videos! The cost of the toll and to camp makes it a no go!!
👍!
Nice video, thanks! 4:51 not much ground clearance on your 4 wheeler there. I wonder if you could drive into meadows and woods with that thing, if say an injured camper needs a ride.
That's when I use my radio and call the Park Ranger on duty......they have one 24/7 on call.
Nice
👍!
Pretty place!
Yep!👍
God Bless his heart, did he say, "Yut".
Yurt......I've been corrected alot about the way I say it...😂
Awesome place, camped there a few years back..love the eastern shore of Virginia...if your a seafood lover, the shore is the place to be...we are from the eastern shore of Maryland , lots of good camping in MD. If you get the chance head up to Chrisfiield, MD and take a day cruise over to Tangier Island surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay..something g to see, and the seafood is plentiful.. enjoy the shore..
Thanks.....yeap it's nice here.!!👍
Never been there but it’s looks like a great spot to rest for awhile!
It's nice!!👍
On the yurt the u sounds like e, not u. Concrete is still used to build ships. It's the displacement above the water line that lets them float. Like a glass bowl.
Overnight camping how much does it cost per night. I think there is a Royal Farms store near you they have great Fried Chicken basic stuff you need there is a Family Dollar or Dollar Tree I believe the grocery store is a Food Lion, all these are a few miles down the road. Not at the campsite
Five miles to Food Loin....Royal Farms is like 1/2 mile. $40.00 for VA. Resident......$47.00 out of State.
18 to cross the bridge how much per nite... nice video thank you
EWS...is $40 for VA resident and $47.00 for non residents.
Tent camping is $30.00 and $35.00.
Not sure about my return trip over the bridge......
@@myscamptraveltraileradvent1230 thanks again as always
👍!
Like I told you last time have my first camp host job. Hopefully I can add a few more to my travels. Commented to work next winter here in Texas for school transportation, just 4 hrs a day. But working at hitting the road with some host jobs in the future. Be good and be safe. 🏈🏈🏈 CHIEFS
Haha.....its "GO DENVER"!!!!!!👍
Costs to much in tolls and camp fees to go there.
Ok.........
Yurt....pronounced yourt.
Thanks.......
